“Tasted like sauce was from a can”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2012

We received a gift card so went for dinner with my husband's son. We were all terribly disappointed and won't return. It was fairly expensive, and the sauce tasted like it was from a can, and the food in general tasted like you could get it at the market and throw it into the microwave. We have never returned.

“Cant believe all reviews.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2012

We went to dinner there last night.. Was greated by Hostess..taken to a table..She took our wine and opened it. was only 3 other tables in the dining room. Our waitress arrived..with a bread basket. .very nice young girl. Gave us plenty of time to decide. Answered our questions. Salads arrived,,very nice and fresh. Main course arrived , very good...Our server was very attentiive during our dinner..I know there were only 3 other tables..but we were satisfied with every asspect of our dining.. A man (owner maybe) came over to make sure everything was good... Will go back.. Lot of food for the money..great service..

“lovely space, just wish the food were better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2011

Routing for this charming owner to do well up against the onslaught of chain restaurants opening up in this area, but time and again, his food lets us down. Always a great bread basket, with white and red pizza slices and rolls, but then the salad comes with bottled dressing or a too salty soup and entrees that never resemble the traditional Italian dishes they are supposed to be. For example, piccata should never contain mushrooms, but always capers and sun dried tomatoes don't belong in almost every dish. The hardworking Mexican staff in the kitchen needs to be educated on classic preparations of classic Italian dishes. And a side note: If you keep putting your pasta down in the same water, by the end of the night, it's too salty. Fine for a sandwich, but not a meal.

“Should have stayed in old location”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2011 via mobile

The old location was better and we only went for the appetizer bread, banquet rooms, and low key atmosphere for byob with our wine and friends. To me this place is now like the other 10 Italian shops in the area; nothing special.

“A little gem in Hanover”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2011

On the outside at their location, you would think it was very ordinary, but the food is fabulous. Their voda blush sauce is to die for. Not the place to go to when you are on a diet. This is a BYOB restaurant, but there is wine and spirits store right across the street. They do not charge a fee and graciously open the bottle for you. Occassionally if a patron is not aware it is BYOB, they have been known to give out a complimary glass of wine.
