My family camped for a weekend in a cabin at Codorus in August, The cabins were very nice: clean, dry, two sets of bunk beds, overhead light and fan, large fan on floor, heater, floor lamp, lamp on nightstand, table and chairs, high ceiling, covered front porch with picnic table, ample room for parking, ample space around cabin, fire ring, slightly wooded, very close to bathrooms. If you camp you can get a discount for the pool , which by the way is a highlight of the park. The pool has slides, sprinkler play area and zero walk in entry. There is a nice store located before entering the park that had some camping supplies. The only thing that I found discouraging was that the park is located in a hunting area. We were advised that it was duck and squirrel season, so we avoided using any trails for hiking, Otherwise there are trails for hiking, biking, and horse back riding. Other people were braver than us. There are factory tours in the area for chips, pretzels, snacks. We really enjoyed the tour at Utz: saw the potatoes being loaded off the trucks, coming into the plant, cleaned, sliced, cooked and all way through to being bagged, boxed and stocked in warehouse. You walk along a windowed corridor that allows you to see everything from top to bottom. Overall a nice stay.
