“Amazing night out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013 via mobile

Always willing and eager to visit new restaurants. Lupi and Leo was definitely one of the best places we have ever been. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. We were greeted and seated upon our entrance. The decor is colorful and fun. Its so comfortable you don't want to leave. It is a BYOB establishment so we brought in a bottle of wine to enjoy with our dinner. Our server greeted us promptly, offering us water and wine glasses before opening and presenting our wine to us. We were told of the " soup of the day" and started off with an appetizer of the bacon wrapped dates. Amazing!

Skeptical but totally worth it. We ordered the braised beef short ribs and homemade gnocchi. I can't put into words how tender and delicious the ribs were, and my wife loved the gnocchi. After our dinner, our belly's full as they were we could not resist getting desert after being presented with an a tray of beautiful homemade deserts, even the ice cream is homemade! The warm apple pie in a mason jar with vanilla ice cream and pumpkin cheesecake with a cranberry orange chutney was so worth getting. Fabulous experience, great staff and friendly owners has made it our go to Resturant. You have to check it out lunch or dinner you will not walk away disappointed. Great job!

“Amazing food and staff!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2013

Amazing food and very friendly and welcoming staff. Doesn't matter if you want a sandwich and fries or a full dinner with desert they have it all. Definitely try their signature Cicci's and twice breaded cheese sticks. I look forward to going back again and again.

“Can't do better in Greensburg”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

So what do you want to eat? Romantic sit down? Old favorites? New style cuisine? Gourmet or traditional favorites? Quick sandwich soup snack? Even just dessert? This place has it all.

Ambience is nice. Doesn't seat more than about 50 with open window into kitchen. Owner and head chef is very visible and makes sure that everything is exactly how he intended it and how you want it.

The food is outstanding. Take traditional items and add a flair that takes it to a new level of taste. Double handed breaded cheese sticks served with traditional marinara AND a separate habanero pepper dipping sauce. You can get your pizza traditional with just pepperoni or you can get one of their gourmet pizza offerings. All pizzas are brushed with a garlic butter on the crust. It's just those little things that raise the standard a bit. If you are looking for a full meal, they are available also with portions big enough that you'll take some home.

I have the crime brûlée for dessert and it was very good. Served with Kona coffee (yes Kona! It's the little things) it was the perfect ending to the meal.

This is a BYOB or wine place. Small corkage fee for wine. When I was there 4 out of 5 tables had brought wine with them so don't feel odd carrying a bottle in.

Haven't been over for lunch yet but apparently they do a rotating menu of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches at lunch.

Great for a date or a family gathering.
