“Amazing and beautiful place for R&R!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012 via mobile

My husband and I stayed at this lovely B&B in September and had such a wonderful time. The house is so beautiful and inviting and the service was definitely 5 star! Delicious gourmet breakfasts, a secluded place to relax and unwind while taking in the scenery (there is a waterfall in the woods behind the house), and wonderful hosts who were very helpful. We are looking forward to going back sometime in winter to see the Christmas decorations :)

Had the pleasure of staying at Seven Sisters B & B for one night on this past weekend. Janey and Gene were amazing hosts and breakfast was incredible!! We stayed in Dorothy's Floral Garden room. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Our favourite spot was the beautiful deck overlooking the forest and waterfall. We had a great dinner (Janey made reservations for us) at Gallery Grill, just a few minutes away. Great location for rest & relaxation and also convenient for a shopping trip to Grove City. Wonderful chocolate chip cookies in the evening!

When you see the modern look of the outside of the house, don't let that stop you from going inside. The owners have done a great job of decorating the house with the history of their family. We like this part of western PA for its bike riding opportunities. Lake Wilhelm Allegany River trails are both a short car ride from the B&B it is also located near Grove City outlets. So whether you are tired from a tough day of shopping, biking or hiking, Seven Sisters is a great place to return home to. The owners pay attention to the small details which is an advantage to having the owners on site. Fresh baked cookies at night to an amazing breakfast in the morning. If you are staying in this area, there is no reason to stay at a motel. You get a substantially better room and experience for a price less than what I found in nearby areas for suites. Also there is a beautiful 20 foot waterfall which is visible from the house and or a quick easy hike to get an up close look. Even though it was March it was warm, so we opened our bedroom window a little at night to let the sound of rushing water relax us. The other nice feature in Julia's room is a true 2 person jacuzzi. I am a big guy and appreciate the extra room. As the weather gets warmer, they also have an amazing deck to relax on or if you prefer to stay indoors, the sun room offers you a great view of the woods. There is lots of bike riding ahead of us in 2012, so as long as they have rooms, we will be skipping the overpriced nearby motels and coming back here.

Room Tip: If it is available we loved Julia's room for its jacuzzi

While planning a visit with family in the Greenville, Pa. area for the holidays December 22-27, we found this B&B with good ratings on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. We are very pleased with our discovery! During our stay we lodged in 2 different rooms, Mary Frances' Hemlock Room and Dorothy's Floral Garden Room. As a result of our experience, we decided to put together a list of the "Top Seven Reasons to Stay at Seven Sisters B & B."
Jayne & Gene Mays - Jayne wears a smile that chases away the shadows and Gene is very con"gene" ial!
Comfort - Premium bed linens to nestle into for a restful night's sleep and a full course, custom home-made breakfast are meant to soothe and satisfy road-weary travelers.
Little things that mean a lot - Chocolates at the bedside, eco-friendly practices, handy refreshments and a choice of areas to rest and relax are just few of things I can think of that add value to the reasonable prices.
Modern amenities with antique charm - Every space of this newer home is carefully decorated with a tasteful blend of original and reproduction antique furnishings.
Explore and discover - This is a great place for Early American and Natural history buffs to stay.
Cleanliness - It is obvious that this is a top priority here.
And the number one reason for staying at Seven Sisters is the SCENERY - The rare falls among the hemlocks and the northwestern skyline panarama are priceless. Don't forget the camera!
Here are a couple of things to regard, however if you plan to stay. There is a policy of quiet from 11 pm to 7 am. We unfortunately discovered the walls to be thin. Fans are provided in each room that can be used for comfort and noise reduction but even with this, we could not cancel the voices, coughing and water running from the bathroom in the next room. Also, desiring a completely dark room to sleep, we found the thin hand-made roman shades to be completely inefficient.
For the top 7 reasons listed here, we are definitely interested in future stays and would like to try some of the other amenities offered in the packages listed on the website.

On October 27, 2011, my wife and I lodged at the Seven Sisters B & B. We were on a trip and picked this place because it was close to one of our favorite restaurants in northwest Pennsylvania, i.e., the Springfield Grill in Mercer. The building, which is fairly new and designed specifically as a B & B, is on a former dairy farm owned by the same family. It is in a beautiful country setting but not remote. The entire facility and our room were very clean and comfortable. Our hosts Jayne and Gene were gracious and friendly. Jayne prepared our breakfast that included banana cake, her version of eggs Benedict, and fresh fruit, which was all delicious. Our stay was very enjoyable and the cost extremely reasonable. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for the Mary Frances Hemlock room.

I travel to this area every 3 months to see my Doctor and found this b&b. Gene and Janey are wonderful and so nice. You feel like you are visiting your favorite Aunt and Uncle. They make you feel at home. The rooms are quaint and always clean and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast that they make for you is beyond great! I feel so pampered when I stay here. Staying here makes up for why I have to travel to the area and I look forward to staying here again in couple of months.

Room Tip: All rooms are great. So it is kinda hard to choose just one
