“Good Breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

Good prices, well-crafted omelets and breakfasts, good coffee, great decor, namely pictures straight out of the old readers starring Dick and Jane. Very pleasant happy staff.

“Great Homecooked food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

This is just a small place. But, don't let the exterior fool you. It's worth the stop. Seat yourself. Open 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. With the exception of Sundays' - opens @ 6:30.
Breakfast all day...except pancakes stop being made at 11 a.m.
The Turkey Special is on Sundays' & the portion is huge & very yummy. Turkey cooked that morning!
The omelets are yummy.
And they often feature 'scrapple'.
Yes, it is small. and can feel "cramped" when full. but, that's some of the character of it.
It has the original 'soda fountain bar' and seating. :)
And yes, you'll hear some local gossip - if you are listening....but, again - it's the character. :)

“19 years and never disappointed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2012

I've been going here since 1993, when a bunch of friends started a yearly golf trip. Over the years the place hasn't changed much. Neither has the quality of the food. Good portions, great home cooking and very reasonable prices. Great small town, old time atmosphere. Very friendly place. Love the old fashioned milkshake maker. Only drawback is that it's a small place, which can be tough on Sundays. Fortunately, there are 7 counter spots too. They close at 2pm daily. We never miss this place when anytime in the area.

“Locals gathering place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2012

Tightly squeezed seating. Average food, service OK. You can't help but hear other's conversations since locals are passing the latest town gossip across the room.
