“Unless your a heavy sleeper do not stay here!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013 via mobile

After reading the reviews we decided to save some money and book this hotel.our stay started out fine. Room was decently clean. Pack bleach wipes so you can clean out the bath tub. The hotel seemed updated. No evidence of bed bugs. The hotel its self is extremly noisy!! Kids running down halls at 1am. A mom screaming at her kids at 2am. 6am new kids running in halls. We heard all of this over the air conditoner, bathroom fan and radio. No security enforcing quiet time what so ever. Wild hoards of pre teens in the pool area, with no supervision. Save your sanity and stay somewhere else! Managment will not enforce any rules and wild monkeys destroying their hotel!

An OK hotel. Definately not any fancy frills. They stated breakfast was from 6:30 until 10. We were there right at six thirty but only a bagel out for food. Couldn't even get any juice from machine. For sure need to work on getting breakfast ready on time for people who have to meet a deadline.

We stayed here for the first time for splash lagoon. Yes breakfast was the worst part of our stay so we will not stay here again. They have 2, 2 slice toasters for about 70 people. There was no butter on the toast side of the room so u had to cut into the waffle line that was about 20 deep to get butter and peanut butter. The bkfst workers were about 3 and they never refilled the donuts the whole time we were there. One was leaning against the wall. No where to sit, so we sat by the pool! Pretty much toast and cereal and yougart if the waffle line is to long. Only positive thing i can say is the walls must be thick because i had no noise from the other rooms at all! This hotel is about $30 cheaper than the connecting hotels to the water park. If u get a room overlooking the pool watch out for noise its suppose to close at 10pm, but we had a group of people having there party there till 140 ish and was almost going to call the front desk.

Room Tip: If on the 3rd floor there are stairs to the far side, the other stairs stop at the 2nd floor!

The best thing about this hotel is the pool/hot tub area is really nice(but it doesn't open until 8:30 am, and my oldest son and I love to get up really early and go swimming). The rooms are okay, nothing special, but adequate(they could really use some new T.V.s). The lobby is nice, and the staff was really friendly and helpful! We asked for extra pillows to use on the sofa bed, and we were told that there weren't any available... How does a hotel run out of pillows??? The worst thing about our stay was the breakfast. Sunday morning at 8am the room was packed wall to wall with the sorriest excuses for humanity I have ever seen in my life. It was like welfare payday at Walmart. Kids running wild, people pushing their way around to get food. It was absolutley rediculous, they need to hire some security guards to keep the hungry mob in check. They were basically out of food by 8:15, when breakfast is supposed to be until 10:30. We were told when we were planning our trip that the breakfast included waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, etc., but the menu when we were there was waffles, hard boiled eggs, cold cereal, and donuts(and everything but the waffles was gone, empty, not being refilled), oh and you had to wait in line FOREVER to make a waffle.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a pool view.

We recently stayed at the Econo Lodge and overall, we were pleased with the place. Aside from a few upgrades (TV was fuzzy and old analog style) and repairs needed (light over door kept going off and on), our room was nice and comfortable for our family of 4. The pool and hot tub were beautiful and well taken care of. The free breakfast was also good. There was something for eveyone. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying there again.

I stayed for one night in November and was taken aback by how lovely the hotel lobby was as I entered. The desk staff were extremely helpful and courteous. I had no reservation, and tried this place just on impulse during a recent casino trip. I had a very nice room, hotel maid was extremely helpful and made the extra effort to come in as I was just entering the room, and commented that it still smelled smoky to her (and I am a smoker) and went and fetched a spray that really worked. I didn't catch her name, but she started my visit off on a very positive note. Thank you. I have zero complaints, and when I checked out I decided this place is a hidden gem and will definitely get my business again in the future. As a matter of fact, I'm checking in tomorrow for a 3-day getaway of casino gambling and soaking in the hot tub Ididn't get a chance to do this last trip) reading a novel. Can't wait, glad the weather seems to be cooperating. Thank you and happy holidays!

This is by far one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced. The constant thump thump of the steel plate in the road and other highway noise was bad enough, but the disgusting Jacuzzi tub was so bad my daughter refused to take a shower. The tub was only separated from the room by a curtain, which is hardly ideal for a father to shower or even use the bathroom with the teenage daughter in the room. The caulking around the tub was filthy. Their breakfast foods were pathetic with the yogurt past code. The hotel noise was bad as well. There was a soccer team staying there with the children unsupervised running rampant through the halls all night, front desk did nothing. Someone's car alarm kept going off, front desk did nothing. Contacted the hotel to let them know my displeasure, they did nothing. The pool area they boast is loud and stuffy. Internet service was poor. Televisions were old and sad. Carpets were filthy. For the fools who call this resort-like, they must stay in awful resorts. Steer clear of this place.

Room Tip: Rooms near the road are VERY loud with traffic noise. Rooms by the pool are loud with pool noise.
