We just returned home from three days/nights at Homewood and were completely satisfied!! The rooms were lovely and clean with every ammenity in the kitchen one would need for a short stay. The pool/hot tub were great. While personally I think adults should get a little longer "adult time" (its from 11pm-Midnight) thats just my opinion. The staff were wonderful, pleasant and helpful. There was a great variety for breakfast which worked better I thought if you returned to your room to heat it up, but otherwise was good & tasty! I wouldnt hesitate to recommend or return to Homewood,,excellent location near soooo many shops and eaterys!!! Cheers !!! Margaret, Ontario

Agree with everything that has been said here.

We got the "Queen Suite" which has a sitting room in the middle flanked by two separate bedrooms, one on each side. You can have your own room, watch your own TV, use your own bathroom - without having to share anything!

Of course, if you are feeling sociable, you can meet your mate in the sitting room which has its own TV, a fireplace, and a small kitchenette with everything provided. There are not many Queen Suites available; like 4 or 5. We got the two remaining queen suites for four of us. All four really enjoyed our stay here!

Room key opens the door to the "computer room" - one computer and one printer with free internet access. This room is right off the lobby.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Highly recommend this hotel!

Easy to find, clean and comfortable, friendly staff, you can't go wrong here! Not much of a view, but our suite had plenty of room, a fully equipped kitchen, and not a thing was out of place or overlooked. The lounge area is nicely decorated and the pool / hot tub area, while not huge, is spotless. A very nice breakfast is included in the room rate, as well as a light meal at the manager's reception on weekday evenings. Shopping and restaurants are nearby, and Presque Isle isn't far away if you feel like spending some time at the beach. Not the cheapest rooms in town, but absolutely worth the few extra dollars. We'll be back.

This hotel was is a hidden gem. It is a fairly small 4-storey hotel that I'd never heard of before, but I will surely look for a Homewood wherever we need to stay anywhere for the night.

We stayed 1 night on July 9 after driving 12 hours from Huntsville, Alabama in the King Studio on the way to Niagara Falls.

If you are wondering why the queen suite is $10 more, the prices are not messed up. The King Suite is $129, and the Queen Suite really is $139. The reason being is the king has 1 king bed (very comfy) and pullout twin sofa in one very large room and the queen suite has 2 bedrooms, w/ 2 queen beds.

The suites have a full kitchen with a full sized fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and sink. They even have dishes and utensils and free microwave popcorn along with a coffeemaker with coffee and tea.

Check in was quick and easy, and the lady at the front desk was very accomodating and friendly. We stayed in the 4th floor, facing the back of the hotel towards the mall. The view was not that great, but there were 2 large windows in the studio. The bathroom and room were very clean as was the rest of the hotel. The pool was fairly small, and only went to 3 1/2 or 4 feet, but we did not use it so i can not comment on that.

There's plenty of shopping and a nice Millcreek mall within walking distance and I recommend it if you have some spare time.

In the morning a complimentary hot breakfast is provided and is very good. The selection includes cold and hot cereal, pastries, hot big belgium waffles, sausage links or bacon(alternates each day), scrambled eggs, juice, milk, many types of coffe, and so on.

Overall this is probably the best hotel in the Peach St./Interchange Rd. area although the Fairfield Inn by Marriott next door seemed to look nice if you don't require the kitchen and living room. But we would defiitely stay here again.
