“Great "cuppacoffee," cool atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

An Erie native who always enjoys coming back to town to visit family, Brick House is always a must on my list. I remember when Brick House was "just a house," so it's even cooler to come back these days. We love coffee, and though Brick House's can be a touch on the bitter side, it grows on us with each sip. The service is fast and friendly, and for $3.98 for two humungous mugs, plus fast, free wi-fi, it's the perfect stop. We enjoy sitting in the cozy front room, admiring the pretty crown moulding and fireplace, and just kicking back for a few hours on our computers while the unhurried, steady crowd comes in one at a time. The only thing missing is a bagel or a healthier selection to accompany the coffee, though the sweet scones, muffins and cookies look out of this world! We also like the fact that they have a fun craft beer list, wine and specials to go along with it. We'll be back for a nightcap! Keep up the good work Brick House. It makes us smile knowing the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in good 'ole Erie, PA.

“Good food large portions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

My lovely bride, myself and our eldest stopped as we were pulled in b the patio dining. We were encouraged to sit anywhere and shown an exterior high top that sported remnants of the previous guests. Seeing his our waitress used her hand to wipe everything off and didn't bother with wiping it down or the sticky spots.

Having been on the road for several hours we stayed and ordered. I a meatball sub w fries. This was an avg size sub with four large homemade meatballs. They were excellent and he marinara above avg. the sub was accompanied by a large order of steak fries. My lovely had a turkey wrap. The wrap was overstuffed with fresh chunks of turkey and a sizable portion of sweet potato fries. She raved about the wrap and took half home. My eldest had a steak and cheese in a Syrian pocket w a large side of steamed broccoli ( a no cost sub for fries). She too was quite pleased.

Bill for three meals and a coke with tax 28.34. Short of the table issue all was terrific, I'd stop again.

“Another great local coffee shop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

This is one of the great local coffee shops in Erie. Plenty of comfy seating for a coffee shop and food for both breakfast and light lunches that is really good. Off street parking and outdoor seating a definite plus!

“Delicious Chai”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

I love Chai and am therefore very picky, I make special trips across town in the summer to enjoy the wrap around porch and delicious Chai tea! Hot or cold, they hit the spot... homemade on site.

“Nice change”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2012

I went in for a coffee a nd came out with so much more. We use to go just for the Brickhouse cookie but with the addition of sandwhiches and other fare, it's been a great place to sip a glass of wine on a sunny late afternoon and catch up with friends.
