“Cozy and Tasty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

We stopped at the LPD unexpectedly when plans for another restaurant didn't work out. Since it was listed on TripAdvisor as the most popular place to eat in Erie, we decided it was worth driving out of our way.

The food and service were both very good. The authentic diner interior was cute. I was surprised that they stopped serving breakfast at 11am on a Saturday, but we adjusted. My husband raved about his Reuben. Our fries and home fries were both hot and fresh. If you're looking for a quick bite at affordable prices, LPD is the place.

“Good Food, Felt like 'one of the locals'”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

My husband and I went to lunch at Lawerence Park Dinor after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. I had the pesto/mozarella sandwich and my husband had the gyro. Both were really yummy! The guy sitting next to us at the counter recommended the coconut cream pie and it was as good as he said it would be. The staff was freindly. The dinor was adorable, but the funnest part was the fun conversations and the interaction between the locals there. The one little girl gets the pickle on her plate and gives it to the waitress to eat, etc. It was a fun meal!

“Fantastically Authentic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

Having been born and raised in Erie, and coming back years later for a visit, I was thrilled to discover the Lawrence Park Dinor. Shame on me for not finding it sooner! We went out for a morning run at Presque Isle and instead decided breakfast was in order (we can workout in the afternoon). So glad we took a detour to Lawrence Park, because what we found was far beyond our expectations. What's not to absolutely love about a dining car on the National Registry of Historic Places, two eggs, amazing potatoes and toast for $4.19 each (is it any coincidence that the address is 4019 Main street), a spic-n-span adorable environment and an enjoyable, attentive staff. All of this was made even better by the fact that we got to chat it up with the owner Becky, who also made our wonderful meal. We're breakfast junkies, and Lawrence Park Dinor now ranks in our own top three international list of breakfast spots. Awesome, stupendous, fantastic!

“Worth the trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Stopped by after visiting Presque Island State Park. It was out of our way, but well worth it. When we pulled up in front we were a bit hesitant, it is an old historic "dinor" after all, but we immediately were at home with the lovely employees. The sandwiches were very good and they even gave us ice for our cooler to carry home our homemade pie! No wonder they are rated #1 on TA.
