“Very clean, Hampton Quality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

We usually stay in a B and B in another town whenever we go to the area, but because the B and B was booked, we chose to stay in Ephrata Hampton Inn. It's a great quality Hampton Inn. The staff was really helpful and accommodating. It was a busy weekend with some local festivals and weddings, etc, so they were pretty booked too, but they somehow managed to extend our stay ad lib when our dates had to be flexible (the visit was for a sick family member who was in her deathbed). They were very thoughtful and accommodating.

Lucky for us that your usual B&B was booked so that we could receive your lovely review. We are sold out most nights throughout the year, but our Front Desk Team is diligent with keeping up with cancellations and I am glad we were able to extend your stay during your trying time with your family member. Thank you for your kind words and our best wishes are with your family.

Hotel is very clean. Nice room on upper floor with a great view of the town. Breakfast was very good with great service. Ephrata is a quaint little town nicely located on Rt 322 between Hershey and Lancaster. Would definitely recommend this Hampton Inn. It is one of the best that I have stayed in.

The town is so charming. It has great restaurants and lots of fun family things to do in the area. The Hampton Inn was so clean, comfortable, and welcoming that I would reccommend it to all. It is far enough away from the crowdedness of Lancaster but close enough to still visit.
Restaurant suggestion- Kyma... I think I spelled that correctly
Fun family activity- Hand On Museum and the Turkey Hill Experience

Thanks Hampton Inn for a fun 3 days!

We also use the word "charming" when describing our town. We love small-town Ephrata and are glad you enjoyed it! It's a great spot to relax and still be close enough to enjoy the many Lancaster Country attractions. Kyma is a personal favorite of mine (the key lime pie is a must-do, every time) and we tell everyone that their Colossal Crab Cake (all lump meat!) can't be beat. So glad you had a fun 3 days, and hope to see you again soon!

We just returned from our two nite stay at this wonderful hotel!! We went to relax and to go to the antique shops in Adamstown which is about a ten minute drive from the hotel. It was the best choice I could have made! Hampton Inns are the best! But this one is exceptional!! The staff couldn't be nicer! The place couldn't be cleaner! The breakfast was outstanding! Waffles, eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit, I could go on and on! The two women who work the breakfast keep the area spotless and the food replenished! The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home with me!! All the linens including the bed covers are washed for each guest! This place is amazing! The coffee is always hot and fresh 24 hrs a day! The yummy cookies are always there waiting for you when you return from your day! It is located on a Main street which is nice and quiet. No Highways! The views from the rooms are great! It overlooks the cute town of Ephrata. There is a nice courtyard that seperates the hotel from the Applebees. It was all Great!! The only thing was the pool was closed, there was a maintenance problem. I was looking forward to a swim but I guess things happen, Don't even hesitate to book this hotel! Great Restaurant a two minute walk from hotel. The Hilltop Inn. We will be back for sure!!!!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the courtyard! Great Views!

Thanks for the great review! We love being called "exceptional"! We hope you found some treasures in Adamstown, AKA "Antiques Capital USA". I am glad you enjoyed our amenities (especially those yummy fresh baked cookies - we try them first to make sure they are OK to give Guests). The view is indeed awesome through all of the seasons on the west side of our building and Guests can request a room with a view when making their reservations. I apologize the pool was out of service, but a child had an "accident" and we had to sanitize the pool with the proper chemicals to get it back up and running for Guest use. As you said, these things happen, and I am glad it did not ruin your stay as it sounds like you had a marvelous time.

The Hilltop is one of our favorites - their blackened tuna salad is out if this world! We hope to see you again soon. And just in case you really DO want to take our bed home with you, you are able to purchase one off of the Hampton website from the "Hampton at Home" collection.

We stayed here last fall when we visited Strasburg Railroad, Dutch Wonderland and Hershey. It is a quiet location, off the beaten path, which I personally love. The staff was by far the friendliest I have ever encountered - just super nice and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. We will definitely visit again!

I understand that this is a relatively new hotel and it looks it. It is quite lovely and in excellent shape and the grounds surrounding it are small but pretty . The entire hotel including all public area's are immaculate. Our room was clean and the decor was pleasing. We had a double queen room and both beds were fresh smelling and very comfortable. The room included a microwave and small refrigerator which I consider essential when traveling with two small children. The staff was friendly and polite. The buffet breakfast was far better than I anticipated. Lots of choices and everything was kept filled and hot. The coffee was very good and is available 24 hours. Our friends live in the area so we definitely plan to return to this hotel.

Thank you for your review! Believe it or not, we turn 7 years old in September, and are quite flattered that we still appear new. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay - and the reason those beds smell so fresh is that ALL linens are changed on EVERY bed for arriving Guests! It is something the Hampton Brand prides itself on. We have a fridge and microwave in every guest room - I am glad you found that convenient. Our Team will appreciate that their hard work is recognized - and we will see you again soon!

Thank you for your enthusiastic review! It sounds like you had a blast doing some of our favorite Lancatser County things - buggy rides, Shady Maple, and Sight & Sound! I personally thought Jonah was one of the best shows they have done and am glad you had a 'whale' of a good time (-:
