“Just Ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012 via mobile

We are here for a casual dinner. We waited 15 minutes for a table. I had a Special dinner Veal Bonna, my husband ate Seafood Manicotti. I had a glass of wine he had a pint of beer. The bill was $50.00. My veal was in a sauce of sun dried tomatoes and artichokes. The sauce was like a brown gravy. It was much too heavy and the artichokes were canned and too wheel done to the point of being mushy. My dinner did not include a salad. I ordered one for $4.00 and it is very basic. My husband's dinner was much better. It was served on spinach and the sauce was a nice light white sauce. There isn't much seafood in their manicotti, but it was still tasty. It's mediocre fast food. I would not wait 20 minutes again.

“Freshly-Prepared Italian Fare”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2012

Great pizza! Sauce and pizza dough memorable. House specialties are excellent. Quality food with very reasonable prices.

“One of our favorite restaurants”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

Armetta's, a family restaurant, offers the best of both upscale Italian meals and more casual fare. Portions are generous and delicious. At the dinner hour, complimentary garlic knots with marinara sauce are brought when you are seated, giving you something to munch on while reading the menu. The salads that accompany the meals are just average. We love the spaghetti and meatballs and any of the chicken selections. We have also had the pizza which was good too. Look for coupons in local publications which makes Armetta's an even better value.

“Nice Ambiance and Service - Heavy Traditional Italian Foods”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2012

Nice building. The parking lot was full. The service was great. The eggplant fries and fried mushrooms were pretty ordinary. A neighbor's pizza looked really fine. The fettucini and ravioli were fine. All in all, pretty average.

“Only a few items are worth the trip.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2012

Armetta's is tucked into a quaint part of Emmaus, but this is where quaint Stops. The service is OK, but the pizza is mediocre. The gluten free pizza, which they advertise is awful.
The regular pizza has an unresponsive crust, and the sauce is super BLAND! Even my ten yr olds barely ate it! We re- ordered the stuffed shells in place of the gluten free pie, and it was OK. The marinara is average so the rest of what is underneath serves it well. But we were charged $14.00 for shells, and had to ask for the salad that goes with it, as we were already through a Cesar. The issues are long, and the store average to below average.
