Liz and Fred are fantastic hosts. From the first phone call to make the reservation, I knew we had found the right place to stay in Elysburg.

The Plum Pudding Inn is a bed and breakfast with true character. It's actually made up of two free standing homes, so if you prefer a private bath, be sure to ask for the Pirate room, it's fantastic! We had our own bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub. The bathroom in the main house also has a jacuzzi but is shared, so the Pirate room was more our style. The Pirate room was designed for a couple, but the room next door (the "Cowgirl" room) is more for families with one large bed and two bunkbeds! The main house is also home to Sweet Pea, an adorable small dog, so if you have allergies stay in the other house.

If you enjoy a hearty breakfast with lots of laughter, this is also the place for you. Enjoy "Eggs a la Fred" or have Liz whip up some decadent pancakes (pumpkin pancakes!! Yum!) for you. You will never leave hungry we can tell you that.

We also found the price very reasonable when compared to the chain hotels near Danville. It truly is 2 minutes from Knoebels (our destination) so it was wonderful to have such a short drive home each night instead of trekking back to 80.
