After 7 long hours of seminars at the Hershey Convention Center and the noise and bustling of hundreds of attorneys, what a delight it was to drive down the lane to this B&B. The accomodations in the Wicker Room were adequate; the bed comfortable, a place for my suitcase and comfortable chairs for reading. The bedding looked a little tired, but quaint. The balcony afforded me a view of a pasture where I watched a pair of young racoons exploring the field while I read in quiet solitude. The caretakers encouraged me to swim in the lovely pool; however, I didn't take a suit. Towels are provided for guests and it looked clean and inviting. The A/C in my room couldn't be adjusted, but was adequate. Breakfast was amazing. I completed the menu request upon arrival and indicated the time I would arrive. Upon arrival, my table was set with a seasonal fruit cup, freshly squeezed OJ and freshly baked sweet bread. I ordered blueberry pancakes and sausage and both were delicious. I'm certain that at 1/3 of the cost of staying at the Hershey Lodge, I had 3x the pleasure. A great value not far from Hershey.
