“Old time theater”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

The experience is like stepping back in time, with a one room theater that sells concessions in the back. We took the kids, and it was a great time.

“Gem of a theater”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2012

The Grand Theater is a charming vintage style theater in the heart of downtown Greenville. It typically features two different movies, several weeks after the initially release date. The entrance fee is cheap, $5 per movie, with some prices higher for special showings.

But what sets this theater apart is the atmosphere. The theater is entirely decorated in "vintage" style, complete with red velvet wall hangings, curtains that open and close across the movie screen, a pipe organ, and attendants dressed in red & gold uniforms! Snacks are also available for purchase at amazingly low prices.

If you enjoy the retro, old time feel that movie theaters have generally lost, this is an absolute must!
