“Best buffet for quality and consistency”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012 via mobile

I never give buffet restaurants a five but this breaks all the rules. Excellent food, huge selection, good service. I have never been to a buffet with this good of food with that big of a selection. Everyone must try it at least once. There are desserts as far as the eyes can see.

“Reasonably priced and very high quality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

This is right in the heart of the Amish community in PA. We went for breakfast on a Friday morning, and was initially shocked at how large the facility is. The buffet seems to go for miles, and everything tastes very high quality, for around the same price as a cheap chain buffet. Pastries are home made, you can get omelettes, pancakes, and eggs to order, and there is a nice selection of regional foods. It was delicious, and you will be very sad when you fill up! Just take a tablespoon of everything, so you can try it all!

“A Christmas week tradition”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Lots of food, pretty wide selection. We always go for the brunch smorgasbord. You serve yourself and go back for whatever you want. It is pricey, and for me, I can't eat that much food, but my family enjoys it! They have a fabulous gift shop!

“Best bang for your buck”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

My wife and I have been coming here for years. Great Amish food and lots of it. Today is free for my birthday. Steak, fish, chicken, and lots of Amish veggies and soup and salads and desserts.

“Great variety of good food, but may be better on a weeknight...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

Our small party of 4 were there this past saturday night. We went because 1 of us claimed their free birthday meal. The sat night menu offered roast beef, salmon, tilapia, pork, fried chicken, fried shrimp and ham along with a variety of pa dutch inspired sides. The place was jam packed and I'm sure things were cooked hours before and put in holding units. I thought 21.50 (which includes an 8% gratuity) was a bit much considering they charge 19.49 for the same menu on a friday night. Prime rib night is also $19.49, steak night is $18.49. When we want a homemade pa dutch buffet we go to Dieners along rt 30 near Ronks for $10.25 weeknights and $11.50 on the weekends. With that being said, we've been to shady on weeknights in the past and the food was better (not overcooked). Their breakfast is great. I may return in the future for breakfast.
