We stayed at The Inn at Fordhook Farm a long time ago, in 1993. It was beautiful then, and I'm sure most of the family antiques are still part of the furnishings. We especially enjoyed seeing the secluded study where W. Atlee Burpee worked on his seed catalogs.
The 60 acres of farm, the historic buildings and gardens are available for walks and enjoyment.
We ate a full country breakfast in the diningroom. There was only one other couple there and we were quite well attended.
Doylestown, the county seat is located a mile and a half from the Inn.
Visit Peddler's Village with its antique and craft shops, and explore nearby New Hope another mecca of charm.
