This B&B is tucked away off a country road in Dingmans Ferry and, although you can certainly drive to various destinations as we did for dining and bike riding, it isn't in the middle of the action like other places where my wife and I have stayed (for the record, we've visited Milford and Jim Thorpe in the past, and favored downtown locations within walking distance of attractions for our lodging). Nest, however, was very comfortable and inviting, in and of itself, and we could have easily spent the entire weekend there with no problem. We decided to request dinner service the first night, and were very happy with the results. Being a Bead and Breakfast, you automatically get breakfast when you stay there, but dinner must be requested and costs extra. Marko spoke with us and our friends, who were staying in the second room, about our food preferences, and he and Sally did a good job of creating a scrumptious dinner from all the different suggestions we threw their way. Their dogs, Frodo and Tulo, were some of the sweetest dogs ever, so if you love animals this is a great place to stay. The house itself is very unique, both in its construction and decoration. Lots of exposed wood and beams, along with plenty of plants and various decorations hanging from walls and ceilings. Everything was topped with some nice modern touches. The basement, complete with pool table, wii and pinball, as well as the pool and hot tub (weather permitting) provide plenty of things to do on-site. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet getaway in the Poconos.
