I went with a colleague for early dinner on a Monday - not the busiest day of the week generally, and in the case of Coyote Crossing, very quiet indeed so hard to judge how it would be if busy. The patio looked lovely, but as it was raining torrentially, off limits, but I could see that an outdoor meal on it could be a good experience. Indoors, the ambience was a little dull - the room not particularly exciting, the bar dull and the toilets really very small indeed.
So how was the food? A mixed bag. The free chips were delicious, the draught beer was good. The mains were pretty tasty - we had the fajitas, which were delicious, but slightly let down by there being only 3 wraps for a mountainous pile of food (I had the beer and chicken ones). Given portion size, this seems like an odd economy. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, as her only customers for most of our meal, I expected nothing less, but she was helpful and made recommendations, especially on drinks!
Overall an ok experience, not too expensive so value ok, service, ok food ok - overall...........ok.
