Paddlers lane is a great place. The property and houses are both beutiful and functional. But what makes it nice is Dan and Robin, the proprieters. Apart from a outstanding logistical limitations, they generally go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

Just the right amount of attention for a B&B. Plenty of service without being hovered over.

Our family came to do daytime adventures. Fishing, hiking, swimming, bicycling, & outside BBQ. We did all that and more. With small children we wanted the comfort of a warm, dry place to sleep and paddlers Lane definately had that. We love the cozy warm welcome feeling this place gave us. The breakfast was wonderful as well. There was a good variety for a variey of appetites in our family. We didn"t want to leave!

This is my second time at Paddler's Lane. Robin and Dan are great hosts creating a laid back atmosphere at their beautiful B&B on the banks of the river. From their tasteful rooms, to sitting in front of the stone fireplace or waking to a wonderful breakfast on their own handmade pottery, our visits have been delightful. It is the nicest B&B I have stayed at in the area, I recommend a visit to Paddler's Lane enthusiastically.

This was our first big camping trip and we couldn't have chosen a better place!! The location was perfect - close to lots of things to do but out of the hustle and bustle. Dan and Robin were wonderful hosts giving us lots of suggestions for eating out and entertaining our 10 year old daughter. Confluence is a really nice town and Sisters Cafe is a great value for breakfast - rec. by Dan and Robin. The campground has a great new - clean bath house with lots of hot water in the showers. There were not a lot of other campers there and those that were where very respectful of all. The Bat houses were really cool to watch and keep the property practically bug free!! We would highly reccommend this campground and didn't mind the trains that went by periodically. They stopped long enough for us all to get 3 great nights sleep!

This place is great! It has all the amenities that you need/want and you can fit your entire family and extended family under one roof if you want. It is a great place to stay while vacationing with an outdoor focus. Not only is it close to numerous activities such as visiting Frank Loyd Wright houses and a leisure bike ride down the allegheny trail but you can also fish outside your back door or paddle down the river. If you visit during the winter you are 20 minutes from three different ski resorts! There are outdoor businesses nearby too. The location is also next to a huge field which allows plenty of room for fun and games. The staff are very helpful, nice and cook a wonderful spread of delicous and healthy food. It is near a railroad crossing but the house is insulated so well you cannot even hear the trains and being near the river makes you feel like you can forget about your daily chores back home. This is truly a wonderful area to vacation and to stay whether you are entertaining a business trip or visiting with friends and family - It has nice furniture and beautiful woodwork. I highly recommend the stay.

The room was beautifully done, very comfortable and newly renovated. The home was extremely clean and well kept. The landscape was fantastically gorgeous and conveniently close to the river. We loved the kayaking!! The state park was close by where the children and I enjoyed backpacking on one afternoon. I would very highly suggest this bed & breakfast to anyone who appreciates natures wonder and is in search of adventure and/or relaxation.
