I went here last Saturday with husband and seven year old son for the first time. Based on prior reviews, I made sure to get there 45 minutes early. When we arrived they were already lining up for the movie. We were in line for about 30 minutes but were given menus to look at while we waited. When we were finally let into the theater, we were able to get good seats and were greeted by our server within a reasonable amount of time.
One thing to note is that the seats in the theater are larger and plusher than regular movie theater seats. As a result, there are less seats in the theater than normal. If you want to get a decent seat, you must get there early. People arriving after we were initially let into the theater had to sit way up front in the first row. This theater was also cleaner than the average. No sticky floor.
My husband ordered the burger and fries. My son ordered the kid's macaroni & cheese and I got the mediterranean paninni. The adult drinks came in huge cups. The child size drink was small for a seven year old. We also munched on a bucket popcorn. The food was adequate. Not out of this world, but not bad either. During the movie my son wanted a refill on his drink so he just pushed the button on the tv tray and the server came promptly and refilled his drink to his delight. The server was attentive, but also recognized not to bother us too often while we were watching the movie.
The whole thing cost us about $86 for two adults and a child. I would save this experience for special occasions like a birthday treat.
