“A fun afternoon snowtubing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

We come to 7 Springs every year. We love to snow tube. There are employees at the top and bottom of the slope. They keep an eye on everyone and make sure you follow all of the rules. They always keeps the slopes nice. The lounge is nice and has a area where you can go get refreshments. Tubing is fun for everyone of all ages. You tube for two hours. I can't wait to return. There is also a nice hotel here as well.

“We Love 7 Springs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2014

My family has been going there every year for a ski weekend for the last 5 years or so, and we just love it there. We have two kids, and their ski school is great, particularly the day long "camp." We are always pleased with the friendly nature of the staff, the conditions, the facilities, the rental equipment.

“Lots of fun snow tubing!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

We went to 7 Springs this past Sunday for 2 hours of snow tubing and had a blast. We arranged a trip with our 6-8 year olds girl scout troop. We had a group rate...it was about $22 for kids and $27 for adults for 2 hours. The tubing area is located above the main lodge and has its own parking area, although we arrived on Martin Luther King weekend and parked in an upper lot. There is a small 2 level indoor area with lockers, tables and a small bathroom. I had to get on my cold weather gear in the small bathroom and it was kind of a hassle. There is a small snack bar on site...a bit over priced with limited menu of soft pretzels, soft drinks, hot dogs, beer etc. Although there are a few restaurants in the main lodge (food is not great in my opinion). Once you check in, pay and get a tag for your jacket...you grab a tube at the foot of the hill (outside) and are given a quick overview/rules. I did not even hear the speech. Each group gets a 2 hour span to tube. Although our group seemed large, they moved us in an efficient manner up and down the hill and in 2 hours we went down the hill 10-15 times. You get up the hill on a escalator like belt, towing your tube and tube down. Your can tube alone or in groups. The groups go fast. As I mentioned our kids were 6-8 and did great. I would not recommend it for kids under 5...just my opinion. All in all well worth the money and felt the 2 hours was plenty of time!

“Authentic, rustic, charming ski experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

Since childhood, have enjoyed an annual ski week to this resort. We appreciate the careful and charming rustic updates and upgrades. We've been to many other places on the east coast and have not found the same quality alpine feel with wood siding and real timbers supporting hotel and ski lodge. We enjoy the scale and level of services to this place. New metal, modern plastic siding, can be found at most ski places, (Snowshoe included). Seven Springs has achieved a natural, outside to inside connection with its structures, interiors and landscapes. Its offers an authentic outdoor experience.
Those concerned with the costs of the meals should inquire of onsite resort alternatives. Every kind of fast food imaginable is offered. The timbers breakfast egg chefs are top notch, and make hot fresh omelets, loads of fresh fruit and excellent table service with bottomless coffee cups await. Helen’s restaurant is a treat each year, they offer unique flavor combinations and a revolving menu. Helen’s is overwhelmingly charming. Worth a wintertime visit, Helens at dinnertime shows off large icicles clinging to the eaves with back lighting.

“Fabulous family vacation!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2014

We loved Seven Springs and hope to return for another amazing family ski trip. The hotel is older and the rooms are consistent with an older hotel, but we were aware of that when we made the reservation and were completely happy. The room with the bathroom between the beds was great! We experienced an issue with ski check damaging a brand new pair of skis, however Karen Grey in management and seven springs made everything right.... amazing customer service. Kids loved slopeside dining and wait staff was super friendly (Rachel.) Patti Jo in reservations was very helpful! Loved Willis for ski equipment needs. Slopes were crowded but holiday week... great for Midwest skiing. Spent most of our time on the slopes, but amazed at all of the things to do on site and the friendly staff everywhere. Would recommend ski storage be constucted at bottom of slope by hotel so you don't have to walk up steep driveway and better lighting in rooms, but otherwise awesome!
