“Excellent location, very quiet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2010

This is a great hotel if you need to stay somewhere for business in and around the Chambersburg area. The hotel is next to the highway, which makes it easy for access to other areas of the city and surrounding towns. In addition, the rooms are quite large and very quiet - once I turned the fan on in my room, all outside noise was eliminated.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to business travelers and families going to this area.

this is an older hotel that has been updated. In general I liked it. My complaints were, rooms on street side were very noisy (traffic noise). If I had known that I would have asked for a room on the other side. Bathroom is small, no room to spread my stuff out. Tub faucet leaked from the back when on.
The room was a good size, bed was comfy and clean, lots of storage. We were on the third floor, some of the rooms on the first floor are partially below ground, giving you a worms' eye view of the parking lot. The breakfast was adequate, staff very helpful.

The staff was great and the hotel rooms were nice. They have a nice lap pool.

This hotel is old and tried to get a makeover with updated bedding, baths and some furniture. But it all falls short. Some of the rooms are nicer, but still leave a lot to be desired, you can tell that the rooms are still old. Other rooms are dank, dark and dirty and make you feel like leaving and sleeping with all the lights on. The first floor rooms are actually 1/2 story below, and headlights come into the room at night. Curtains dont' fully close, leaving the opportunity for a potential peep show for the unsuspecting. Service is non-existent, have asked several times for items that have never been fixed. Breakfast is abysmal, best bet is cereal, but half the time no milk. There are better places to stay in the area. Only saving grace is being attached to Ruby Tuesday's but still have to go outside to get there.

where do i start?
miserable staff made 1st impressions dire-i think i said 'what the hell have we come to?'
corridor to rooms stunk and a mean bad-i think they sprayed them but the old wrinkled carpet prob didnt help. Room wsnt much better but got the impression there wasnt a better room to be had if we complained...sleep was poor.
Loved Chambersburg and the people we met.
Hotel worse than poor nothing more than a truckstop.
Flies everywhere in reception landing on you when you eat breakfast-pool was horrible filthy and just plain nasty!
Internet never worked and we were given a booster (i think it happens to most people as they have the box waiting!) and the computer in reception didnt work once and i needed it!
cant do a review to be honest its not worth my time.
Four points shut this down and renovate and get some pleasant staff-enough said!

I have stayed at Four Points by Sheraton in several other states and had very comfortable accommodations but this hotel did not come near meeting my expectations. The hallways and even my room smelled musty and moldy even though it appeared clean. When someone entered the room next door, I could hear every word of their phone conversation. I am a Starwood Platinum guest and stay at Starwood properties whenever I can but this is one hotel I would not stay at again.
