“Worth Finding!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

Discovered this little gem through Trip advisor and decided to stop by for an early dinner on the way to the Luhrs Center in Shippensburg. Off the beaten path by a couple of blocks but most definitely worth it. Delightful decor and welcoming staff. Selections for a Saturday night were minimal (5-6 entrees) but no trouble making excellent choices. Would have been nice to have a glass of wine with dinner, but they are applying for a license (c'mon Pennsylvania, the Stone Age didn't end because we ran out of stones - get with the program!). Even though we live 2 hours away I would definitely return; I sincerely hope this little family-owned gem succeeds.

“Happy to have been steered to it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

The food was delicious: caprese salad; pasta with vodka sauce and chicken; crab cake with apple infused salad; cauliflower soup; and caesar salad. Three of us agreed everything was very good. The service was impeccable and the chef even came out to greet his guests. Only two items on the downside: the portions are American-huge. None of us finished our meals. And the acoustics need a bit of work. The decor is lovely, but with glass topped tables, it was very hard for us to talk.

That said, we'd all go back!

“Simple, charming and delicious.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2012

Wife and I had a date night out and tried this place based on friends recommendations. Although the menu was just one page, it changes as it had the date on the printed page. I had the salmon, which was cooked perfectly and my wife loved the crab cakes with apple slaw. My only complaint to keep from giving it an excellent, was that the restaurant was colder than i like for dinner.

“Don't let the name fool you!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2012

What an innocuous moniker for such a great restaurant. The atmosphere is a bit stark and the seating a bit uncomfortable but the food, oh, the food! We had such a great meal and dinner experience we decided to go back for lunch and it was just as good. The menu is somewhat eclectic with a new twist on some traditional dishes but there are also some surprises here as well in combinations one would normally not see on a menu in southcentral PA. And don't forget to leave room for one of the fabulous desserts of which there are several choices. The best part is, they cater as well so my wife now uses them for her weekly management meetings to bring in a variety of sandwiches, soups and yummy goodies. We will be regulars (as long as they stay in business. They were in town once before and closed unexpectedly after 6 months).
