“Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

The food area is clean. The servers are always pleasant. Plenty of choices for your meal.
The only thing I don't like (and it is not the restaurant's fault) is parents that allow their children to go to food tables and do not keep an eye on them. Especially by the desserts. These servers really try to keep the food area clean.

“Fantastic Easter Buffet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2014

We went to Ryan's on Easter Sunday and had our socks knocked off. We had the most delicious boneless prime rare roast beef---- it was outstanding. There was also baked ham and roast turkey , plus fried chicken and peel and eat shrimp. All of this plus the usual sides, some of which were overcooked.

“Decent food in a casual setting.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

We stopped here on Saturday, April 19th, the day before Easter. We arrived at 3:10 in the afternoon. We were still on the lunch time pricing, and paid $7.49 per adult and about $2.00 more per person for a 'free refills' drink. Since it was the day before EAster, they were offering a different menu beginning at 3:30, (they were charging $14.99 per adult for this special menu for those who arrived after 3:30. )
We allowed to pick our own table. You must pick up your own silverware at the stands near the food area. The food is in the center of the restaurant with seating on either side.
There were two salad bars with plenty of fresh toppings. Everything was cold and crisp. There were plenty of staff working to help keep food stocked and the food areas and seating areas clean.
There were two bars full of hot items to eat - the meatloaf seemed particularly popular and my husband said that it was good. There were various vegetables, meats, starches, breads available. (The waitress brought warm rolls with honey topping to your table if you requested.)
Although I thought some of the foods were a bit bland - and the mashed potatoes I believe are powdered, (yuck), the food overall was good.
Because we were there for the 'Easter Feast" they were grilling steaks to order, there was carved prime rib and carved ham. These foods were very good and tasty.
The only area that looked very lack luster and unappealing to me was the Taco bar area - which had shells and various meat and cheese items.
Our waitress was attentive and cleared our dirty plates and brought more beverages in a timely manner. That was not true for the people seated near us who had a different waitress.
Was it the best food I ever had? Nope - but it was certainly tasty and I got more than my money's worth. Would I recommend this place and return again? Yes - as long as you know that you will be getting decent food, at a decent price - but it is a casual place.

“new managment, great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

New managers are in town. They actually care about how the food is made and they have personalities. Food is hot and plentiful. It's sad that other run it into the ground. It's on it's way back. It's amazing how great it is now. Go in and give it another try. So glad I did. I go all the time now. Great price, friendly staff, great food. Dinner you can go and get carved meats and all you can eat steak. Breakfast, wow...it's a great deal $6 and some change and you get all you care to eat.
