“The REAL FLW”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

This Usonian home was designed and lived in by real people. Exquisite yet manly detailing throughout the house - stone and wood deftly handled. The home is well loved and maintained. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The surrounding sculpture garden was a real treat.

“Usonian intro”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

We took this tour the day before we took the Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water tour. Our tour guide was quite knowlegeable and pleasant. I loved all the angles found within the home. An introduction for us on the Usonian design. We took the last indepth tour of the day at 4:30. Our tour guide moved the two hour tour down to one hour and fifteen minutes by talking faster than we could absorb. We thought it was us but we bumped into another couple the following day at Falling Water and they shared the same feelings. I would suggest you choose an indepth tour earlier in the day. They grounds and view were beautiful.

“A lovely Home, Simple but very Tastefully Done”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Not quite the stunner that Fallingwater is but the home is beautiful and tastefully done. Make sure you check-out the view overlooking the Valley. It was sensational !

“Fallingwater's quiet alternative”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

This Frank Lloyd Wright house is a great example of his work, and we very much enjoyed our tour of it. Particularly interesting were the little details, like the angular cut of kitchen drawers to fit the hexagonal floor plan of the house. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about both the house itself as well as the area around it, though the tour itself was fairly short. Don't miss the view of the Laurel Highlands area at the end of the tour, situated behind the house itself.

“Don't miss this!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

We discovered this property by chance during a recent visit to Fallingwater nearby. A great example of Frank Lloyd Wright's Usonian design, it is a beautiful piece of architecture. (If you are a FLW fan, the indepth tour is highly recommended.) The site also offers great views, as well as a beautiful collection of the private owners' outdoor sculpture.
