Our visit was a delight. The friendly, helpful innkeepers are available at all times to answer all sorts of questions and give suggestions when asked. They are wonderfully informed about the history of their 1714 house, and the local region. The house has many common rooms downstairs - comfortable, many daily newspapers provided. The gardens are extensive, beautiful and a pleasure after a day's outing. (The location is superb for visiting the major area attractions). The room we were in was comfortable and well appointed, although the road noise was noticeable when the windows were open since our room faced the road. There were evening snacks and we were presented with champagne because it was our anniversary - a graceful touch. Coffee and snacks and cold drinks are available (no cost) all day, all night. Breakfast was at the guests' convenience, not the inn-keepers (in contrast to other B&Bs when breakfast was at a fixed time or not at all). We intend to return the next time we're in the area.

My husband and I spent three nights at Pennsbury Inn and loved every minute of it! Our room was very clean, comfortable and luxurious. The Inn was fascinating. We loved the history, decor and all the cool little spots to sit and read or relax in. The gardens were gorgeous! The Inn Keepers are very good at what they do..they were very welcoming. The breakfasts were fantastic, they also accommodated my husbands dairy allergies with no fuss. I loved all the extra touches, the heated mugs, huge and varied breakfasts, lovely sweet snacks at bedtime, spacious umbrellas to borrow, refillable water bottles with available filtered water, wi-fi....the perks are too many to list! Best location in the area too! So close to all the best attractions and restaurants. Can you tell we loved this place?

My boyfriend and I planned a visit to Longwood Gardens. Since that same evening we were meeting friends for dinner at the Dillworthingtown Inn, I thought it would be nice to stay at a nearby B&B. I was somewhat put off by the cluttered and slightly messy sitting room when we entered the B&B. Our innkepper was very helpful and accommodating. We stayed in the inn's largest suite, 'the Winterthur'. It was overdecorated with Christmas knicknacks but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served, at our request, at 8:30 (before they usually serve breakfast). I thought the food was delicious and well-presented. A particular stand-out was the homemade granola.

Lovely innkeepers that gave a lively tour of their historic jewel of a home- from tge wide planked, burnished floors to the tasteful decor and dream kitchen, they make you feel completely at home.
