The art museum is not only convenient to all modern conveniences, but it is just so darling, there's nothing you can't love about this place. We didn't have a lot of time to explore, but the building outside was an incredible mix of rustic materials and modern architecture. Inside, the art works were out of this work and something we have not seen at other museum. The Wyeths were a well known family in the area, but also have a far reaching family tree in history too. We took a quick walk along the river and saw some cute oversized statues outside as well. I don't think our son was as amazed by all the art as we were, so probably best for couples or older children with an interest in art. We were told that they did have children's activities throughout the year. Admission is $12, adults; $8 seniors (65+); $6, students with ID and children ages 6-12. Free for children under 6 and Brandywine Conservancy members. Audio Tours, $3.
