I stayed at the ESA in Carnegie for about 2 months from October-December in 2012.

I travel 11/12 months a year and spend more times in hotels than at home. The experience at ESA was by far the best I had, and it felt just like home. It was my first trip to USA and I had my apprehensions, but the staff made me feel very very comfortable.. The room was rather comfortable and did not have the cold feel of a business hotel.. Being from out of town and not having a vehicle, the first couple of days I had trouble getting food, and would have really appreciated if there were some frozen meal options available in the dispensing machine. Other than that my experience was brilliant, and I would definitely prefer staying there on my next visits, rather than a hotel downtown even though getting to downtown takes some time from there.

I travel all over for work and I stay in different hotels every week. This hotel is by far the cleanest hotel I have stayed in. The rooms are large and accommodating. I can't say enough good things about the staff. Any questions, concerns and needs I have are always treated with respect. The staff are always very friendly and really make you feel welcome. A special thanks to the manager, Sarah James, who is always there to help, and always greets me with a friendly smile. I highly recommend this hotel.

As a frequent traveler for business, I stay in many hotels. When making a business trip to Pittsburgh and then extending my stay for personal reasons, I choose Extended Stay - Carnegie. Why? The staff is super friendly and helpful, doing anything they can to make your stay pleasant. And it works... The recent renovations have improved the quality of the hotel ten fold. The rooms are always clean, organized, ready and waiting for you. The only draw back to this location is leaving the hotel to travel west toward the airport. Not easily accessible to the highway. But the rest of the offerings surely make up for it. A very reasonable, pleasant place to stay while in the area. I always book this hotel without even thinking of looking elsewhere.

I have stayed at this hotel before and the staff continues to amaze me how friendly they are. If their is anything that you may need, these great workers will gladly get it for you and have fun while doing it. The remodel is beautiful with new carpets, beds, floors and many other amenities that you would find in a much more expensive hotel. Everytime I come to Pittsburgh, this is the only place that I will stay. Sarah makes everyone feel at home and her housekeeping staff is second to none. I come back to the city once a year and when I do, Sarah always remembers my name. Do you know what that means to a tired traveler? EVERYTHING!!! This is the kind friendly hotel that she manages. Thanks so much for hiring people like Sarah and the staff at this Extended Stay America. Whenever my travels take me to Pittsburgh, this is the hotel that I will always choose to stay. Thank you.
