We have used the Sports Emporium several times while in town for the car shows. We have played a few games, but mostly drive the go-karts. The outside track has three double cars, which was perfect for our 3 children to ride with an adult, then the older two kids were able to do the indoor karts. My husband said the Grand Prix track outisde has some very rough spots in the concrete now which jarred him around in the kart. The young people that work there have always been respectful, friendly, and helpful. There are two mini golf courses which we have only ever done at night-but we have noticed a lot of lights that do not work, leaving dark areas. There are water fountains and 'rivers' going through the courses with blue (I think) water that is pretty gross looking in some areas. You really have to watch the little ones so they don't fall in the water. It is a bit pricey at $7 a person-with no discount given for children.
The batting cages were closed "due to renovation," even though there was no work being done at the time, they appeared to be broken. Overall, this is a fun, safe environment to take your family. The only real complaint I would have would be how hot it was inside. During the dangerous heatwaves last week, the air conditioning was not on. We felt bad for people who were working there because it felt like an oven.
