“Atmosphere is better than the food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

The Pizza Grille on Gettysburg road looks like an old restored garage. It has garage doors that open up to allow the feel of an outdoor seating area which can be enjoyed in nice weather. I decided to try this place on a work trip to Mechanicsburg last month based on a recommendation of a local. The Pizza was average at best. Ton of cheese on it and very little else in the way of sauce or toppings. The others I dined with that night enjoyed their meal. One got a steak salad which was really good and the other diner got a pasta dish with garlic and oil that was just ok in her opinion. The portions were kinda small as well. Would not go out of my way to go back to this place on a return trip to the area.

“Pizza Grille, Lemoyne PA”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

The Lemoyne Pizza Grille, which has the same owner as the Camp Hill one, is smaller and a bit more casual. Still offers outdoor seating. Nice Pizza many interesting versions. We like the three mushroom or margarita, or the mélange tuna salad or crab cake are great. The best thing about Pizza Grille are the very fresh ingredients at moderate prices. The food is not too salty which is better than most of the franchise restaurants. The portions are large. In both locations you can see the cooks and see it is a clean operation. The servers are very nice. The Lemoyne does not have a bar but you can bring your own. One does not usually have to wait in line in the Lemoyne location, perhaps it is due to no liquor license. Favorite dessert is the Bomba chocolate encrusted ice cream. Some do not like that a salad does not automatically come with the main entree, but one can purchas a nice half salad.

“Much of a muchness”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

This is local place for us. The Gettysburg Pike store opened up around the time we moved to the area, so we gave it quite a few tries and once in a while go back just to kill the monotony. I really don't understand their popularity except for they do have full bar service and and a diverse and full menu. If you are expecting to get a sincere Pizza fix though, you may be disappointed. The Pizza is okay but portions are small and always seem to arrive at the the table needing to be heated up. The staff is hit and miss but generally not too bad. Seems like they do a walloping lunch business with the nearby office crowd and may be a decent place for a family dinner out but don't expect to be overwhelmed by the food.

“Not sure I understand the pizza rating!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

we stopped in this weekend and had pizza. It was okay, not sure what everyone gets excited about. The service was okay, the server was busy and made sure that we knew she was! She only looked like she had one large table, but I guess it was too much for her. It's okay! I would not go out of my way to return.

“Good food, can be nice atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

They have a good variety of pizzas as well as sandwiches. The seating can be very nice on the outdoor patio if the weather is nice. Pretty noisy inside. Don't let them seat you near the bar if you don't like noise.
