“nice room great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2011

stayed here for 1 night to see fall leaves. The food was terrific and the staff very nice.
Excellent room and hotel location. Breakfast was a surprise that had everything you could want in a meal, and service was great.

Room Tip: all are good - did not see the stable rooms

I liked this place! I had a Select Registry certificate, and my husband ( a touring musician), happened to be stopping in Bloomsburg, PA with his bandmates at the Holiday Inn Express in town, and me being from New York, decided to drive a few hours to visit him. I didn't want to stay at the Holiday Inn, so I just happened to see if there were any bed and breakfasts nearby, and with my luck, this one was just a few minutes away! It was nice, rooms were clean, cute, staff was nice as well. Breakfast was good, but the only thing was lack of selection, and no eggs because chef wasn't in that day..that is why I took off one star. I've never been to a B&B with no eggs, especially for vegetarians, it is a no-no, I mean, we need a breakfast meal. But other than that everything was great. I would recommend this place to others for sure, and also town is nearby so you can drive to eat at good restaurants!

We were fortunate enough to visit the Inn at Turkey Hill during our stay in Bloomsburg. Although we did not stay at the establishment we did get a chance to enjoy some appetizers and sample from their beer selection. I'm typically not a fan of the brewerey/restaurants as the majority of the beers aren't up to snuff, but I was very impressed with the bers here, and the food we had was very good. The service was excellent as well. Super friendly people that went above and beyone during our visit.

This was our first time staying at the Inn at Turkey Hill and definitely will not be our last. It was beautiful, very clean, cozy, country setting. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly at the front desk when checking in and out. We were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend. Some may think that $145 per night is high however if you consider the 'hot' breakfast you get also, you would spend at least $30 or more for a family of 4 for breakfast so all that taken into consideration, the price is great.

Room Tip: We were afraid that a Kingsize room would not be enough for 4 of us but it was plenty. The sofabed w...

The Inn and the staff exceeded my expectations. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful. The breakfasts spoiled us and we loved the brew pub next door.

We stayed here on a long drive back home, after 3 nights of hotels, and this inn was exactly what we needed. We were tired and hungry, and they were welcoming, the place was clean and charming, and the room was so much more like home than a hotel. We stayed in a "stable" room, and the room itself was quite large and impeccably clean. We had a whirlpool tub, a fireplace, and a nice porch out front. Even though the place is located very near to the highway, our room was so quiet. We never would have known that someone was staying in the room next to us had we not met them outside.

We didn't eat at their fine dining option restaurant this time, but we did go to their new, more casual brewery/grille. Both the beer (try the blonde ale) and the burgers were satisfying, and it was a quick walk from our room. In the morning, we had some complimentary breakfast in a lovely glass room overlooking the duck pond. There were hot and cold options, and the staff made sure we were looked after.
