My wife and I were there on July 13th at 10:30 AM. We had to wait about 10 mins to get seats at the counter, which is no big deal. The place was crowded and now I know why. After seated we got our coffee and a very friendly waitress took our order. We then sat there and watched what can only be described disorganized confusion. There were at least 6 waiters/waitresses, 2 people
in the kitchen, 2 bussers and 2 short order cooks. Non of which talk to each other. The food must have been good as the 2 cooks could only put one dish together at a time. One of the cooks had to constantly refer to a menu which was taped to the wall to figure out what to do. Orders where returned which had been prepared wrong which added to the confusion. After 30 minutes of waiting, not including the initial 10 minutes, we paid for our coffee ($4.00) and left. As we walked out we passed 12-15 potential diners, who I'm sure are still waiting for a table and breakfast. As a side note, there was a notice on the "CASH" register saying credit card users will be charged a $2.00 fee. A family of 4 will pay no less than $35.00 for breakfast and then be charged and additional $2.00 for using a credit card? Talk about gouging. Go the Murphy's Loft 3 minutes

We sincerely apologize for your unpleasant experience but thank you for your review and be advised we address your concerns. in response to the $2.00 service charge on credit card use this was done to offset our cost and prevent us from raising menu prices. As of October of this year all vendors will be imposing a surcharge for using credit cards which will be automatically imposed through their merchant service. We have chosen not to participate in order to give our customers the option of paying cash and not hit them with the surcharge. As for your recommendation of going to another restaurant in the area,we encourage this as long as it is an independent business and not a chain. Thanks again for your review.
