“Go early and save money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2012 via mobile

We're visiting while going to a graduation party, and passed the restaurant on our way to our hotel. We decided to try it for dinner and we're glad we did. We got there at 5:30, which got us the early bird specials. Same size entrees for a lower price.

I had the steak and shrimp. It was very good. Next time, I think i'd just get the steak. Loved it. Love the salad and fried rice too.

It was a great value - much larger portions and a lower price than our Japanese steakhouse at home. At least 8 dollars less per entree.

I'd definitely eat there again.

“Excellent Food and Great Timing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

Go to the Hibachi before 5:30pm and you can get the early bird special. It will save a few dollars per meal. I've eaten at several of the Hibachi chains, but this location is by far my favorite. An excellent, inexpensive lunch menu, decent drinks, and by far the best fried rice I have had at any Japanese Steakhouse. The waiters could be a bit more attentive, and not every chef really champions the showmanship angle, but many do here. Great Sushi too.

“Nice experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

First time there. We chose hibachi versus the traditional table and menu choice. It was a good experience. You select the food you want, and watch your chef prepare it in front of you. Each chef has his own personality with some being more playful and funny than others. Plenty of food was served and the taste was very good. A bit on the salty side, but still enjoyable. I would recommend the "Geisha" choice as you get steak, chicken and shrimp for less that some of the other choices. We sat next to one friendly guy who helped make it enjoyable. The experience will depend on who you sit with and the chef. It would be good go with a party of 8-9 and have the chef all to yourselves. Try catching the shrimp in your mouth at the end!
Would go back again.

“Great place for a light dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2012

Our usual is either appetizers or a light dinner at the bar. It's a favorite place to catch up with colleagues.
