“Luxurious Spa Weekend with FANTASTIC customer care!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

Spent a quick "Spa Weekend" with girlfriends at this wonderful, historic and elegant Omni Resort just outside of the quaint town of Bedford ,PA. Cannot say enough wonderful adjectives about this resort. From the moment you exit your car, they take wonderful care of all your needs. Scott the doorman remembered our names (all 4 of us) all weekend after only introducing himself once at the front door! Everyone was that caring and attentive. The spa was the highlight - absolutely a wonderful experience, no minor need left unanswered! The place was totally renovated in the mid-2000's and it shows. Full of antiques and history and still very homey and welcoming! Many "Restoration Hardware and Martha Stewart" accents everywhere. The shops were fun and sitting out on the veranda in rocking chairs was a wonderful relaxing interlude. Indoor pool and outdoor pools just lovely, many walking trails and the "guys" will love the golf and also the spa treatments. Upon leaving on Sunday, drove through the little town of Bedford, and did some more shopping - wonderful boutique shops.....we WILL absolutely go back for a longer period....just wonderful on every level.

Room Tip: Ignore (I repeat) ignore your GPS system and simply come off the PA turnpike, go through the little...

I was here just last weekend for a corporate retreat, and I am ready to plan the next one here! The hotel is beautiful, the staff is courteous and helpful, and I was very impressed with the activities group. We stayed for two nights, and everyone was happy with their rooms. The hotel staff was very responsive to my questions before and during the event. They answered each question I had quickly, and they helped me find answers to the questions they didn't know the answer to (i.e. activities). They matched the event space perfectly to match our needs. Each meeting room was more beautiful than the next. The AV support, Randy, was always there to help and set everything up perfectly before the event. The staff that served our meals were wonderful, and the food was fantastic. Everyone was very pleased with each meal. While we were there, we held three group events - bowling, trap shooting, and kayaking - with the help of Get Out & Play! Outfitters (as recommended by the hotel). Shelley, the owner, was extremely helpful and flexible with our plans. The respective staff for each activity was helpful, informative, and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about the Omni Bedford Springs Resort. I hope we can come back very soon.

The staff are some of the best you will ever come across here at the hotel. The spa amenities and services are fantastic too! As with any hotel, they still have their issues...the cleaning staff stole my iphone charger which I left by mistake after checkout, can hear neighbors from balconies at night, etc. The pros still outweigh the cons here and continue to enjoy staying here. The grounds are beautiful and so are the trails!

I took my mom and mother-in law for a weekend getaway and the service was spectacular. There are very unique places to eat on-site and near by. There are activities for everyone to enjoy from beautiful golf courses, relaxing pool, wonderful hiking trails, biking, beautiful gardens, etc. I would definitely consider bringing by husband and children on another trip to involve some fishing, etc. The front grounds have a beautiful grassy area for young children to be able to run and a fire pit with evening entertainment. Even a cute little tree swing. I would recommend this to anyone!

My mom and I satyed here for a weekend getaway and some spa time. We arrived on a rainy day but had a massage scheduled so the weather didn't damper a thing. Get to the spa an hour early with a bathing suit! The staff will set you up in a changing room and provide robes and sandals. There is an indulgent shower with a body scrub, followed but the peppermint steam room, then a cool bath, finished with a warm whirpool mineral pool. There are also great amenities like lemon water, cucumber refresher spray, and a variety of toiletries. Highly recommend all of it! This leads to a relaxation room with soft lounge chairs, lemon water, fruit, coffee, tea, reading material, and trail mix. There is also an outdoor area with a private garden. We waited here until our massage therapists came to get us. The massage was very relaxing - can't say it was the best I ever had but it was still a high quality experience. The therapists bring you back to the relaxation room when you are done. Overall, the spa can't be missed!
Our room was in the spa wing which was very nice. The room was large with a nice TV, a big bathroom, and a door that opened to the outside. There is a coffee maker and nightly turn down service too. Only two minor complaints - the shower head is not that great and we heard noise from the other rooms or out in the hallway both nights we stayed. Not sure if this was a particularly noisy group of women or if it is typical to hear noise from the other rooms/hallways.
The hotel itself is extremely nice! The grounds are impeccably kept and there are many amenities. There is an indoor and outdoor pool - we did not use either but both were popular. We did not eat at any of the restaurants but all seemed nice. We did have lunch at the outdoor pool snack bar and that was great. We got a table overlooking the golf course - good way to grab a quick bite. We also took advantage of the hiking trails and did the 2.5 mile one. It was a little steep at times but a great way to get in some exercise and it was very serene and even smelled clean and fresh.
Overall, I would highly recommend a weekend here. It was very relaxing and offered a lot of options and is a big resort and still feels cozy and personal.

We just spent one night here, needing some R and R, and it certainly delivered that. The place takes your breath away as you arrive, and continues to do so .It is an excellent restoration , has an elegant feeling, with all the benefits of a modern boutique hotel. The service was excellent from all staff, especially the stunning pool area.Great cocktails
and wraps .
The room felt like a bedroom, not a hotel bedroom, and that homely , non chain feeling , was very appealing .
The Crystal room dinner was outstanding, service too.
We loved everything, and will be back , very soon, as it's an easy 2 hour drive for us, such a great find...thanks to tripadvisor!!

My mother, sister, and I stayed here on a Friday-Saturday in April. This was my seond time backm, but their first visit. They were just as impressed as I had been the first time around!
We all enjoyed Spa treatments - it really is a great value if you consider what you get for the price. No matter what treatment you book, your reservation grants you access to the entire spa area and mineral spring-fed baths. Plan to arrive an hour early, and take advantage of the steam room, special scrub in the shower, the cool mineral plunge, and the hot whirpool springs. Then take a nice shower and put on your robe and head over to the quiet waiting room to enjoy cold water, fruit and tea. Read Magazines and relax while you wait to be called. Then after your massage, you can enjoy the whole bath ritual once more!

The entire staff at the Omni is top-notch and will go out of their way to cater to your ever need. I cannot say enough good things especially about Director of Operations Adrian Gonzalez and his staff. They are truly the best staff at any hotel and you will have no complaints!

Room Tip: We have stayed in both the Spa rooms and the older historic rooms - the older rooms have more "...
