We stayed here for one night in late August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were on an 11-day road trip around Oregon. Upon arrival, I immediately wished I could have stayed a second night. The setting is beautiful and secluded.
We stayed in the Curacao room and enjoyed its privacy (with a separate entrance). The room had been redecorated recently and was cozy and charming and opened onto a patio and the back lawn with the ocean as the backdrop. Stunning.
As another reviewer noted, however, the room does lack a bathroom door so it could be awkward for certain traveling companions. If someone is in the bedroom, there is privacy. But if the front door is opened, one could feel a bit exposed (even though no one could really see in.) That said, for us, it was not a big issue and we would stay in the Curacao room again.
As for the breakfast the next morning, one word: Scrumptious! I still think about the meal and I am not a foodie. We met three other very interesting and friendly couples at breakfast. It made for very enjoyable conversation, so much so that we hung around at the breakfast table far longer than we normally do.
Sherwood and Stephanie are wonderful hosts and knowing that we loved to hike, recommended the "Hobbit" hike as we departed. What a fun, short hike! Be sure to check it out.
The Cape Perpetua area is really lovely and there appeared to be lots of hikes in the vicinity. Next time we are in the vicinity, we will stay a couple of days at the Sea Quest and do more exploring.
Bottom line: I highly recommend the Sea Quest B&B if you want to spend a couple of days unwinding, eating delicious breakfasts and exploring the beautiful Cape Perpetua area.

Thank you for the very descriptive review of your summer stay with us on the coast! We love the Hobbit trail, too, we just hiked it yesterday.
