“one of the best B and Bs ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

We visited SeaQuest on a trip down the coast and regretfully were able to spend only one night there. We loved everything about this B and B. It is so comfortable and accommodating. Although there was no cell reception, we felt very comfortable with the WIFI and landlines in the common areas just outside our room. Nerina, the innkeeper extraordinaire, lives on site and made it very clear that we could always contact her if needed. Nerina was friendly, accommodating, fun, and was an amazing chef! Breakfast was indeed a treat. There were so many little extras waiting for us....cheeses, crackers, snacks just in case we wanted a late night snack. Coffee and tea always available. wood already laid in the fireplace in case we wanted to have a fire in the evening. AND THEN THERE IS THE VIEW...WOW!!!
We will definitely go back to SQ, but will probably choose a larger room or even the suite for an extended stay
Our room was quite small but our comfy bed and listening to the ocean as we dozed off certainly outweighed the size of the room. The only suggestion that we would have is that a door between the bathroom and bedroom would have been nice.

We chose to stay in the St Lucia room, but didn't realise from the description that it was at the back of the house with no ocean view unless you went out of the patio doors. Apart from that it was a lovely house that only seemed to be inhabited by guests, you were free to wander everywhere. There were superb views from the guest lounge on the 1st floor where breakfast was served. A computer and printer were available downstairs with plenty of tea and coffee, there was also a microwave and fridge. It was slightly difficult to access the beach which was about 4 feet lower than the lawn. Breakfast was plentiful and Nuala baked a cake so you could have some during the day.

Though we had come from a much more expensive and excellent B&B in Cannon Beach, the SeaQuest was more relaxing and comfortable. The coast, just steps outside the door or viewed in panorama from the Great Room, is easily accessable, mesmerizing to view or to walk the sands. Food and hospitality are excellent. The atmosphere is low key but warm and friendly. The nearby town of Yachats is free of the frantic tourism and overly expensive restaurants many coastal towns have developed. Don't miss the Luna Fish House. This is a B&B we'll strongly recommend to friends and family.

We had a jaw dropping view of the ocean from our cozy room and slept with the door open to the sound of crashing waves putting us to sleep. We spent most of the night on the private beach looking up at the Milky Way, doing night time photography, and flying kites. Afterwards we were able to relax in the Great Room and enjoy hot chocolate. A must-stay place to lodge when touring the Oregon Coast!

Room Tip: We had a private entrance. It was worth the extra few $$$

Beautiful sea front accomodation, lovely welcome from the innkeeper Nerina and good breakfast. The slightly mix and match interiors while I can see once upon a time had a homespun charm have now tipped over to being a bit scruffy with the level of clutter a intimidating. One too many angel figurine in the bathroom and a bathroom door would have been preferred.

Room Tip: Curacao room has no bathroom door

We stayed only one evening here, but would have loved to stay longer. The home has several areas to congregate for some privacy, as well as a large great room if wanting to meet other guests. We were greeted by Narina who welcomed us warmly and showed us all the place had to offer. Dinner was only 7 miles along the coast at the relaxed town of Yachats. This is a great place to stay if you are wanting to get away from the hussle and bussel of life. To me, it embodied everything "vacations" are all about. The property is in need of some attention, but that added some charm to my likings, and the food and hospitality certainly made up for it. I would come back in a heart-beat. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Of course, the view and location could not have been better.

Room Tip: The bedroom on the main floor offered plenty of room for three adults and was relaxing and open to t...

One of the best places we stayed in during our 7 weeks in USA. The Seaquest Inn is situated about 5 mile south of the town on a grassy knoll looking out over the Pacific with a magnificent mountainous forest backdrop. The building from the outside has a alluring haunted look but once inside you really appreciate the exquisite design qualities . The central living area on the upper level is quite beautiful with long glass windows and sky lights bringing plenty of light into the timber finished room. Our host Nerina was charming and we loved the fireside chat eating homemade cakes and cookies. She is a great cook and we had a wonderful breakfast. The rooms were beautiful with a great ocean outlook and private balcony. All in all a great place to relax, unwind and reflect.
