“7 week USA trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

One of the best places we stayed in during our 7 weeks in USA. The Seaquest Inn is situated about 5 mile south of the town on a grassy knoll looking out over the Pacific with a magnificent mountainous forest backdrop. The building from the outside has a alluring haunted look but once inside you really appreciate the exquisite design qualities . The central living area on the upper level is quite beautiful with long glass windows and sky lights bringing plenty of light into the timber finished room. Our host Nerina was charming and we loved the fireside chat eating homemade cakes and cookies. She is a great cook and we had a wonderful breakfast. The rooms were beautiful with a great ocean outlook and private balcony. All in all a great place to relax, unwind and reflect.

I have never visited Oregon before and the Seaquest was my introduction to both the beach and the Oregon hospitality! This is an absolute gem - set right on the beach the views are breath taking and the location is so peaceful. Nerina is the perfect host - not only does she know all there is to know about the area and beyond, but she's also an amazing cook producing huge and delicious breakfasts every morning and cakes every day. There are also little touches that really differentiate this place - there's a gigantic library of CDs catering to every taste which can be borrowed and played on the cd players in the guests rooms, the mind boggling collection of teas, the unbelievably comfy beds, the open fire that's stacked and ready to burn in the lounge...... And loads more. My room was on the ground floor facing the ocean with its own deck and. Hairs outside. I slept each night with the deck door open (screen door shut!) and fell asleep listening to the pacific. Total bliss!

Highly recommend staying at this B&B- wish we could have stayed more than 1 night. Innkeeper was incredibly helpful and made an awesome breakfast with organic tasty food. Also had lots of tea/coffee/ snacks available throughout the evening. Huge common area with many sitting areas, great views of the ocean & huge fireplace. If we lived on the West coast, we'd make this an annual visit!

The innkeeper, Nernia, was very hospitable and made a fabulous breakfast. The view of the ocean from both outside and inside was wonderful. It was a short walk down to the beach. The inn is quite charming. There is a large sitting area and an abundance of snacks. We would definitely go back again.

My friend and I stayed here one night mid-week in late August. The location is fantastic -- literally right on the ocean. Our room was on the corner (Antigua) so we could see both up the coast and out over the ocean. We enjoyed the beach access and the quietness. Despite the place being completely booked that night, we felt like we had a lot of privacy. The breakfast was delicious.
Note that the jacuzzis are bathtub jacuzzis, not hot tubs.
The decor is a bit dated and there are some things that could use an update. However, you aren't staying here for the wallpaper but for the location and the views!

Narina, the innkeeper, just is the best. Seaquest Inn B&B is just the most romantic spot on the Oregon Coast. Stayed in the Martinique Suite which is grand, but every room is a treasure. As always, the food was just impecable and I would highly recommend a vist to this marvelous spot! Will surely visit again. I have been there 5 times now!

Room Tip: Every room is a treasure but if you want to splurge and go romantic, the Martinique Suite is superb.

Everything what I could possible wish for in a B&B: very nicely decorated rooms; great big bed; direct ocean view; private patio as well as big lawn next to the beautiful beach; fast WIFI (although you don't want to use it, but really relax and enjoy the B&B and its natural environment); very welcoming host (Nerina); enormous comunal living room with fire place, balcony and opportunities to relax, read or play chess; great freshly baked pie all day; full breakfast with a.o. lots of fruit, granola, pancakes, sausage, eggs; beautifull starry sky. We did not want to leave! Restaurants 7 mile drive away.

Room Tip: There's nothing in the night which makes noise only the ocean, so in every room you can get a go...
