You don't have many options in Yachats, Oregon for dinner, but luckily you have Ona. An unassuming place from the outside, the interior is warm and welcoming, as are the staff. We sat in the bar and chatted easily with the bartender and other local patrons. The food was excellent--we were tired and hungry after a long day in the car, and the appetizers of grilled shrimp, garlic fries and seaweed salad just hit the spot, taking the edge off our hunger. For dinner, I had the grilled cheese sandwich (get it with the pesto) and the tomato bisque with crab. It was the perfect meal for a road-weary traveler on a chilly evening, and I was pleasantly surprised at how the bisque complemented the sandwich perfectly. My husband had the grilled ahi over spinach, also delicious and very flavorful. The wine list is nice, we had a few glasses of local Oregon varieties that were quite tasty. We're so glad we found Ona for dinner, and we'd recommend it for anyone traveling in the area.
