We travel to Winston to visit family and this was the first time we had stayed in the hotel. According local family it has recently been totally redone and is now looking considerably better than it used to. Our experience was great. Everything seemed new and clean with a wild safari theme playing off the town's main attraction - Wildlife Safari which is just up the street. It has some things in the rooms that are a little dated but for the price I wouldn't complain. The rooms have a refrigerator and microwave in them with a wonderfully large bathroom. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is off site at the Noah's Ark across the street. The included breakfast is pretty basic and I just can't really describe the Noah's Ark experience. It just has to be lived first hand. Winston is a small town with lovely small town ideals and people. Enjoy the experience.
