This place is new and in a strip mall. We actually drove by it once before finding it. It's pretty tiny with a few tables/booths, doing mostly a take-out business. I bought the Groupon so I thought I would give it a try. Seemed like everyone had the same Groupon.
We stood at the counter for a good 2-3 minutes before anyone showed up. The pizza guy was busy making pizzas and didn't acknowledge us. Eventually I think the manager appeared to take our order. We had to spend at least $20. so got a large pizza and an order of breadsticks. We sat and waited. It was fairly busy with a couple of tables eating in and a couple of other folks waiting for to-go orders. Another couple came in and actually went outside to wait because there wasn't anywhere else to sit.
Our breadsticks were up quick and the manager offered for us to eat them fresh, which we did. They were good, although served to us in a box with a plastic container of marinara. We sat and watched the news on one of the muted TVs and waited for our pizza. When it came out it smelled and looked pretty good.
We headed to my friend's home just a couple of miles away with a very hot Wildcat pizza. We jumped right in and immediately we both felt like we were eating a frozen pizza. Even though we saw fresh pizzas being made, we wondered if maybe the dough was frozen. It was like eating a Digiorno. We were hungry and eat ate of couple of pieces, but really wished we would have bought a smaller pizza because we had a feeling we wouldn't be eating it for leftovers. The crust was flavorless and like eating cardboard.
I won't be back anytime soon.
