“Classic Aging Timberline Lodge..is an Old classic. worth a Visit!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

Rustic charm... and decent snow for skiing. The Lodge itself has a lot of History!the slopes are gentle...and allow for a lot of beginners to learn how to ski (as I did In the 60's!!)

“Stop by and do lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

We visited several times during last trip to US. The place is fascinating and great to go up and take a look. Well worth the 10 minute drive off the highway especially for the view if the weather is good or if you want to see what climate change occurs when you get 3,000 feet higher than the hiway.

There is an interesting visitors area with info about the history of the lodge.

Tip: do the lunch buffet at the Cascade Dining room !!! $16.95 Fantastic

Happy Traveling,

E

“Great experience for a day trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Timberline Lodge is always on the list when we host visitors who want to see all that Oregon has to offer. The drive over Mt Hood, punctuated with a tour of the lodge and a heavy mid-day snack, is one of the things people talk about after they've gone home. Sitting in the lounge upstairs with a beer and some salmon and cheese to snack on while looking out at the gorgeous landscape helps folks appreciate our state.

“A place all newcomers should visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

The timbers will never be found again so visit each time I head over the mountains just to remember Oregon History and the men who built it.
