Went here with a groupon and we are heading back for a repeat! Tortellini and chicken is fantastic. Tonight will be appetizers and pizza!

“We really liked this place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

We were staying the night in Tigard and found this place on groupon. After reading the reviews, my expectations weren't too high. However, we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered a pasta dish with jalapenos and shrimp and my husband a seafood dish served over greens. We both loved our choices. Mine was more filling than his, so he helped to finish mine. The place was in the old part of town and very simple and cozy. Our waitress was great! I'm a little confused by the people that didn't like the atmosphere or weren't wowed by the entrees. Perhaps they were twenty somethings with different expectations? We asked the waitress what she recommended for our meals....and she was spot on! What was not to like about this place?! We thought it was a great find and if we lived in the area, we would dine here again.

“Mediocre Food at Best”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

Boyfriend and i ate here on our "date night". It is very quaint atmosphere and was fairly busy, usually all good signs. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer. The dip was great however the bread that came with it was rock hard. It was impossible to eat the bread. Had a glass of the house white wine which was good as well. Boyfriend ordered a soda which they messed up on and never got right. Dinner arrived in a reasonable time frame. We were both horribly disappointed with the food. Neither meal had any flavor, the chicken was extremly dry, and hard. We never were able to get water glasses refilled, or more of the soft bread to finish appetizer with, since no one came by to check on us. It definatley is not worth eating here.

“Average food, drab decor”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013 via mobile

Unfortunately we bought a groupon and used it to celebrate our anniversary. The food was just average. We both had chicken parm & it wasn't prepared very well. Chicken was over done & had an enormous amount of cheese - who uses cheddar cheese on an Italian dish? The marinara was tasteless, a can of tomato sauce open and pour. The decor was drab, dusty fake flowers, vinyl tablecloths with white paper over.. Not impressed.

“Stellar meal in Funky Decor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

We tried this place recently, using a Groupon. It was excellent! The food was outstanding, and at a very reasonable price. It is Italian, but with a modern flare. For instance, if you are watching your carbs, there are several entrees served over a bed of spinach, rather than pasta or risotto. My husband had the seafood trio, and I had seafood and veggies over spinach. We loved both dishes. It is in the cute, original Tigard downtown area. We like funky, but if you are looking for a fancy ambience, this isn't the place. It is more down home. There is a big room in the back, which can be used for banquets. There are only two tables on the sidewalk. The service was great. We ordered a chocolate mousse for dessert, and that was the only disappointment; it tasted like chocolate pudding. I would like to go back and try one of their wood fired pizzas.
