This is known as a boulangerie and patisserie (bakery and pastries). Their breads and pastries are outstanding. Consistently excellent. They do simple bistro foods as well. Try their French onion soup gratinee! Their breakfasts are also stunning. I love their egg provencal and my friend swears by their smoked northwest salmon hash. Their Monte Carlo sandwich is a heart attack on a plate, but is so, so good with turkey breast, melted pepper jack, tomato and bacon. And don't you dare pass up their croissants!!!
Things can get a little noisy in there, what with the crowded tables, the bread slicer and the cappuccino bar. But they do have outdoor seating (which is great when the temperature doesn't exceed 105).
THe interior decoration is beautiful.
