My husband and myself stayed at the Cousins Country Inn in Dec. 07, and later found we had slept with a horrible infestation of bedbugs. My husband received over 150 bites, and myself about 50. Looking at this problem on the internet, my husband had one of the worst cases pictured. We informed the Inn, and later were told they had the "Problem" dealt with professionally, and it was all contained in one room,(this is almost impossible, if you read about bedbugs and how they travel). They never offered an apology, or returned our money, which would have been the least they could have done. My husband could not work for the week following, due the the severity of his bites, the inflammation, and itch, which is just subsiding now, 3 weeks later.
I know that no motel wants this kind of information released, but you the customer have the right to know about this, as it is very real and horrible, ask us.

It is always troubling when a guest has had a bad experience at our property. I want to send my appreciation to Canuck53 for reporting her experience to our front desk manager as they checked out of our motel. Upon this information, a professional pest control company was contacted and as a precautionary measure, rooms were treated.
A letter was written to me the same day as this post and a refund check and an apology letter was quickly returned. Again my sincerest apologies and my gratitude goes to Canuck53 for their bringing this to my attention. Jim Hoffman – General Manager
