The fact that the hotel's rooms are large and nicely appointed is overshadowed by a staff which demonstrated a complete lack of sensitivity to the physical limitations of our elderly seniors group, which was forced to stand for nearly an hour in the lobby on arrival, even though rooms were available for the pre-reserved group when we arrived. (the lobby had insufficient seating for the group; the desk clerk refused to open the breakfast room to provide additional seating). The hotel's manager refused to speak to the group stating (through the desk clerk) that she "didn't speak to guests on her time off." The arrogant, insensitive attitude by staff an management is the worst we have encountered in many years of travel.
There are 4-5 hotels within 2 blocks, including a Comfort Suites, Holiday Inn Express, Shilo Inn, Courtyard by Marriott, etc. offering similar quality accommodations where customers are treated as welcome guests.
And, as others have noted, the Continental Breakfast provided consists mostly of pre-packaged fare of mediocre quality.
