Excellent 2 day get-away. The holiday decorations, the solitude of the lodge, and the dining were all wonderful. The suite was a place to relax and enjoy. Even for a leisure traveler who loves to get out and explore, I would enjoy hanging out in the room, to read, take a jacuzzi tub, or watch a dvd in real comfort. The large room with high vaulted log and pine ceiling made it feel like your own cabin in the woods, which was available if you so choose. Eagerly will look forward to a summer return. Don't forget to have a causal dinner at the Boathouse attached to the lodge.

Recently my wife and I stayed at the Lodge at Suttle Lake. It was fabulous. This lodge was built just a half dozen years ago. It is made of natural wood and log beams and is a marvel to look it. Inside you are greeted with a warm and inviting wood burning fireplace. The guest rooms in the lodge, where we stayed, are large and extremely comfortable. Our room, overlooking Suttle Lake, had a fireplace and flat screen television. In addition, there was a large jacuzzi tub and separate shower. In the evening, between 4:30 to 6:00 P.M. wine, cheese, and fruit are complementary in the lobby.
We did not know this lodge, which is located approximately 13 miles West of Sisters, Oregon, even existed until my wife noticed it in Sunset Magazine. In winter, this is the perfect place to hibernate and in summer, there is a footpath which encircles the lake. Truly, The Lodge at Suttle Lake is a gem to be visited by us again.

We went to the Lodge at Suttle Lake with friends to relax for a few days. We rented a cabin and our friends stayed in the lodge. Both units were great! The lodge staff was friendly and helpful and the afternoon complementary wine and snacks were just right. The cabin and the room were both clean and nicely furnished. My wife had a massage on site and claimed it was wonderful. We will be back. The hike around the lake is also a trip worth taking.

This place is stellar! What a find! So beautiful, so quiet, so serene. We stayed 3 nights and played checkers on the most amazing hand carved checker board I've ever seen. It was in our room with so much more gorgeous furniture and decor. All the cabin/lodge feel at this place is just superb. We enjoyed the wine social each evening and walked around the lake each day. CANNOT believe there is a path all along the lake for people to walk. That was a great surprise. In the way of cleanliness and service - NOTHING was lacking! Everything was just perfect including a breakfast basket at our door each morning. This place was amazing, snow everywhere even, OMG! WE loved it! It was an amazing time and I'm just sorry I've shared our find so late on Trip Advisor as we stayed in 2011.
