“at last another good restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

Previously, Jen's Garden was the only really good place to eat in town. Now we have another option. The Porch has small plates, a full bar, and a great chef.

“Perfect date night option”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012

Chef Caryl Hosler has satisfied palates in Sisters at Jen's Garden and Thyme. Now ready to take on her own establishment, her skills and individuality shine. My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful collection of small plates from the trout fritters and romaine and radishes salad, with a yummy horseradish dressing, to the moussaka. Each preparation was distinctive and evenly flavored. The wine list was moderately priced with several unique selections. Our Spanish red was delicious and a perfect match with our eclectic selections. Splitting the lemon bread pudding with plump Oregon blueberries was a perfect way to end our meal. We are so excited to have a new, reasonably priced "date night" spot in Sisters. Hooray for Caryl and her team.

“Tapas in Sisters”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2012

Just opened in July, 2012, this is an informal place to share small plates, plus there are a couple of "all mine" entrees. Located in an old home, there are inside and outside tables. Judging by the crowd on a mid-week evening, a reservation may be necessary. The choices were innovative, and our picks were really delicious. We were told the menu changes daily. I'm hoping the bacon-wrapped, blue-cheese-stuffed dates are available again the next time we go! The chef has worked in Sisters restaurants Jen's Garden and the now-closed Thyme. This is a fun new choice to eat lightly (or not!) but still get to try fresh culinary ideas! It is not a bar type of atmosphere, so I think kids who are reasonably adventurous eaters would like being here.
