The hotel itself is nice enough and appeared to be one of the best accomodations in Seaside. Our oceanfront room was very nice and spacious with a full kitchenette, couch, ceiling fan, fireplace, and a large balcony. However, the rooms are VERY OVERPRICED. For what we paid we could have stayed at an all-inclusive in the Caribbean, instead of freezing under the dreary clouds. It's a real shame that such a nice beach has such miserable weather.
The restaurant was also overpriced, and the food wasn't very good. The lasagna was so spicy that I couldn't eat it. After a couple of bites it was burning a hole through my stomach. They advertise that kids eat free, but don't tell you that there's a limit of 2 kids.
It also would have been much nicer if the pool and restaurant were overlooking the beach, instead of the parking lot. The parking spaces were also very cramped.
I was also dismayed that they didn't have a faucet to rinse off your feet after walking on the beach.
The Oregon Coast is a beautiful area and this was our second trip there. We had stayed at this property 5 years ago when it was a Quality Inn I believe and was just as expensive. However, having been there in both the summer and fall I don't think it ever gets warm enough to truly enjoy the beach.

I liked this hotel. The price was reasonable and the accomodations, which overlooked the ocean, were spacious, attractive and clean. The beds were comfortable, including the hideaway bed.

There was one smart aleck clerk at the front desk, but he was quickly dispatched by an older worker there.

I can't recommend their room service breakfast. It was simply horrible. The food looked like it had been cooked previously, plastic wrap placed over it and nuked in the microwave. It was dry and almost inedible.

The pool was a disappointment. It was dirty. There was beach sand at the bottom of it and for the 3 days I was there no one bothered to clean it. Pool towels were also quite difficult to find.

It was noisy on the promenade at night related to the volley ball tournament that was in town that week The noise of the teenagers made it hard to get to sleep. But that gets to be a problem no matter what hotel you stay in on the promenade where there is an event taking place.

All in all I found this to be a decently priced hotel, with a beautiful view of the ocean. The room was very nice.

All in all I liked this hotel and would stay here again.

This hotel looks nothing like the picture it posts with all the glimmering lights. The hotel is old. It really needs updating. The whole place had a musty smell including the room. The common areas of the hotel were very dirty. The swimming pool is overcrowded with kids from open to close - don't blame them given how bad the weather is on the coast cold and wndy. The pool water was green in color. The housekeeping was bad. I would intentionally pile up the used/wet towels on the floor so we could get clean ones - but instead they would fold them up and put them back for us to use. We stayed there for 5 days and had the same towels and sheets. I did complain but nothing was done about it. I overheard the staff many times arguing loudly with guests regarding pool towels - they refuse to hand them out. I would never stay there again.

Well, spent hours researching, planning and executiing a trip for my daughter and son-in-law for their honeymoon and picked this hotel for a number of reasons. The reservation staff was helpful and I had to jump through a few hoops to make it happen- 2 hours later I had it all taken care of or so I thought!

When the "kids" arrived they were told there was not a reservation for them and chaos ensued!! They made phone calls-I made phone calls- I was treated very rudely by the desk clerk on duty but he did come up with a room for them but it was nothing like what I had reserved and paid for-

Sorry, I was told-they can't kick someone out of the hotel! The "kids stayed in a far less nicer room for their honeymoon and were treated to a dinner. Next day I was notified there had been an error on their part with entering the date for the reservation- Sorry again, but no room available.
