A vegan's dream.. in Seaside! My father and I went to get food to take back to our hotel.
We ordered The Seaside Boat - which includes teriyaki chicken, tempura karaage, baked oysters, and 8 pc california rolls, it is served with salad, rice and miso soup. at $39.95 it is enough to feed 2-3 people the server said. I think 3 especially if they like the soup, the salad was good with a unique dressing. They oysters were great, but we thought they should be cooked longer for us to like them better, the chicken, karaage and rolls were all excellent.
We also got teriyaki chicken/tempura (lightly battered shrimp and vegetables) I loved the veggies and ate them even the next day dipped in their special sauces they provided.
Also for me I ordered off of their vegetarian menu (it is not listed on their website). I got the Gyoza (vegetarian though, they are dumplings with vegis inside), and Vegetarian rolls both were excellent. On the vegetarian menu there are a variety of rolls, salads and fried.
Finally the Albacore Roll (spicy tuna, avocado, albacore, onion and ponzu sauce on top). My husband said it was very very good.
This all fed four adults and one child, with enough left for me and my husband's lunch the next day. We went all out and it was all superb. We could have easily fed all 5 of us with the Seaside Boat and my two vegi menu selections.
The staff was very attentive and provided drinks while we waited for our order. We will be eating here again for sure.
