“Should have gone to the sister motel (Ebb Tida)”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2012

My husband and I just spent 3 nights at this place and REALLY should have gone to their Sister motel (Ebb Tide). It was affordable but over priced for what it was. EXTREMELY outdated. The bathroom ceiling looks like it is going to cave in any minute,Same with the deck,it has a huge soft spot just waiting for a lawsuit to occur. The furniture is old and (literally) ripped uo and ragged. We wont stay there again.

My fiance' and I stayed at the Hi-Tide Motel for two nights for a quiet weekend getaway. I am very particular about the places I stay and this motel did not disappoint. I was a little weary that it was a motel, but soon found out that it was a wonderful experience! We had a partial view of the ocean (a wonderful view may I add) and we were on the 2nd floor (out of three). The fireplace was amazing and the size of the room was nice. The room was very clean and there was even a fan in the room when we arrived which was a plus since we normally sleep with a fan on at home. As stated in the other reviews there was a mini fridge, as well as a little kitchenette area with dishes and silverware. The room also came with a microwave. We also went down to the jacuzzi/pool area which was clean. It was nice to be able to rent videos ($3.00) and get warm cookies in the evening. There is a very nice restaurant named Maggie's right next door which has an ocean view and decent prices. We ate breakfast there and were not disappointed. The walk to Broadway (the main street) is about five minutes away, and it's a nice walk being that you can walk the promenade all the way there. It was nice to sleep with the window open and enjoy the cool air. We did not hear any noise from the people beside us or above us which was a plus. There is also alot of parking available. Overall this motel was amazing and I will definitely stay here again!

My boyfriend and I loved the Hi-Tide Motel. The staff were very friendly, room and pool very clean and the location was amazing! This is the only place I would stay at seaside.

Additional details/room: bed was a little too soft. Room was spacious and equipped with everything you need for your beachy vacation and the view is stunning. Thank you Hi-tide, see ya soon!

We went to the Oregon coast for a week and stayed here for one night. This hotel has an awesome view of the Pacific and the promenade right below. You can walk right down to the promenade from the hotel, it is only about 50 feet. Our room was very spacious and had a whole kitchen with all the amenities of home. Yes, it was a little older but I liked the 70's style look, and the retro sink and bathtub. It even had a fireplace in the corner! It is very close to just about everything in Seaside. I will definitely stay here again!

The furniture and fixtures look like they are from the 70's. Harvest gold fixtures in the bathroom. Wall paper was peeling and carpets stained. The room felt dirty!! The ceiling light fixture when you first walk in was just a bare bulb!! This place is in need of a much overdue remodeling update. Location was good and staff friendly. Will definitley spend the extra money next time and go to Cannonn Beach.

Comfortable beds and convenient location. Room included a two burner cook top, mini frig, and microwave as well as coffee maker. Staff friendly and accommodating. Was not impressed by the housekeeping staff however. There was NO wifi in the room as advertised... We needed to go to the office to use our laptop, and it is not open 24 hours. Pool and spa wonderful.

Room Tip: Get a top (3rd) floor room for best ocean view.
